Andy is one hell of a coach. Great guy, fantastic coach. Glad Vick made it out and turned into who he is today.
Yeah I don’t agree with what he did but what he did on the field was surely great Andy Reid is definitely a great coach he still coaching the Kansas City Chiefs Which is my favorite football team
Also credit to Tony Dungy´s for guiding him from that mentality.
Vick's a better person than most people in the NFL. It's sad he'll always be remembered for this. I truly believe he's a changed person tho.

Good suggestion. I’ve only ever heard bits and pieces of his story, I’m sure it’s an interesting one, and you know Mike will do his research 🧐
But yeah, I was happy to see Vick come back, and even happier to see how much he improved himself and how hard he worked to do that. Everyone deserves a second chance, and even though what he did was terrible, if you try as hard as he did, you deserve another shot.

@@juliahamon4787 I'm not saying that it isn't terrible but does that warrant the person being held captive with that mistake by others for the rest of their lives?
@Patriotic American people grow and have the potential to change for the good. Everyone has done something they regret and wish they could take it back. It's not like Vick did his time and continued doing the same bad shit after he got out. I'm sure he looks back at what he's done and still feels terrible for it.
@Patriotic American If he truly recognizes that he needs to repent and genuinely has remorse in his heart. So you're telling me that everytime you did something wrong, you were ignorant to what was right?
When a person does his time for a crime then comes out of prison showing by his actions that he is a changed man, I don’t understand the desire of people to continue to punish the person.
Michael Vick EARNED his second chance. He took advantage of his second chance. He went above and beyond any legal requirement to work to educate thus prevent dog fighting and other cruelties to dogs. But for thousands it wasn’t enough, I guess for those with that mind set it will never be enough.
Michael Vick was the most exciting QB I ever saw on the football field. He changed the QB position. I’m so glad he got a second career on the field and I’m so glad he turned his life around. I thank him for the pleasure he gave me watching him play. Watching him was a delight and a great memory.

When I was 9 my grandma was raped and murdered. Thankfully her murderer was convicted and died in prison 30 years later. But he had parole hearings every 10 years, and the only reason he never got parole was because he refused to admit what he did and try to prove he could be a better person. So, myself, I'm happy he stayed in denial. But let's say he had been more intelligent and had been able to convince the parole board that he was just so sorry for what he'd done, do you think he would have deserved a chance at life again? I don't because some crimes are just too horrific to forgive. You may say that it's different because it's dogs, but if you looked up what Vick did to them, electrocuting them, hanging them from trees and beating them like a piniata, drowning them. Life is life and evil is evil. There is nothing different from Michael Vick than there is to Donald Wilcox, my grandmother's murderer. Evil.

As much as I love dogs, I don’t hold hatred in my heart for what Vick did. He was the product of the environment that he grew up in, yes his actions are still his, but his atonement shows that deep down he’s a good person that just made mistakes. If you lived your life seeing an illegal act being socially accepted in your surroundings, that’s going to warp what you view as right or wrong. Nature vs Nurture. If you want crimes like this to end, then you need to improve the standard of living in those areas. Studies show that people commit less crimes when their lives are good. Good people can only live in bad areas so long before they do bad things themselves.

All these dogs were thee "victims" Not this "dog fighter AND murderer."
Did 'he give these dogs a 'choice to not die vs to die horrific ways they were tortured until- 'dead?
Answer is- NO.
Therefore time served or not- this monster is stained with all these dogs 'blood. fmv 😤
Normal human beings don't force animals into bloodsports, torture some to give others a bloodlust, kill ones who don't fight. Human beings don't have that in them, we don't apologize over "muh nature and nurture, muh environment" when it comes to rapists, who like dog fighters abuse others for their own amusement.
I don't make that big of a deal over dog fighting but I'm tired of apologists for pieces of shit. Plenty of poor people don't kill other people or rape or fight animals.
I'm personally a conservative and a Republican. In saying that, you can't deny the correlation between poverty and crime. When you have nothing and surrounded by those with no hope. You are far more likely to engage in criminal behavior to try and get ahead.

Because he tortured, hung, drowned, electrocuted and murdered dogs for 7 years. He’s done his time and has been trying to make amends so he can continue a career and earn a living, but doing all that doesn’t mean he has the right to earn forgiveness from everyone. Dogs have as much right to live as any human does and are much more easily taken advantage of because they trust humans

It is because people keep thinking he is only doing this stuff to save his career
I'll never forgive him for this

The hero of this story isn't Vick. A guy who decides to become an animal rights activist after being caught torturing and killing them for fun and profit is not as admirable as the people who work to stop him and others like him as well as rehabbing dogs sadly being used for such a grotesque sport without doing so in the first place. I'm not surprised the NFL allowed him to comeback, though, this is a league where all kinds of crimes are overlooked because they can throw a ball.
I love Aaron Rodgers but if he were ever caught doing anything like this... I'd say strip him of records, ring, and MVPs then kick him out for good. I don't get what is incredible about anyone who is involved in dogfighting is held in such high esteem for realizing it is wrong since that should be realized on his own because to be involved inflicting pain, on any living creature, for fun is incomprehensible to most out of basic decency to life itself.
No offense to you, but even if someone made an horrific crime doesn’t mean he should never be awarded for great things he did on the field in the past that’s his job. What Michael Vick did was horrible I get you but you see Michael Vick unlike a lot of prisoners came back to fix his mistakes so much people looked up to this man and then he wrecked it with his own stupid mistakes but he didn’t wanna let that guilt keep him for doing what’s right and by becoming an animal advocate . You need to understand that this man has a lot of perspective on animal abuse that he could or is sharing with his collegues and he uses the power he has to fight for animal Justice. It’s your choice to forgive him or not but just know that we can’t punish someone for their crime forever unless if the crime was never understood we need to forgive them at one point !
@@thushanthsinnarajah5160 No offense to you, but there are certain levels of crime. Michael Vick did not just commit a misdemeanor and his crimes involved violence. Have you read some of the things he did to the dogs? I have a small 15lb maltipoodle that would be thrown to the bigger dogs to get their aggression going before they were forced to fight to the death, some were electrocuted, he hung, drown, or electrocuted the dogs who weren't good enough to fight. They weren't inanimate objects, these weren't petty criminals but violent depraved abusers who thought that was fun. Vick did not come to advocate against animal abuse out of the kindness of his heart or any sense of morality or decency; if he hadn't been caught then he would likely still be entertaining himself by torturing and killing living beings that experience pain, and he liked inflicting it on them.
However, apparently, if you're famous, can throw a ball, and were only torturing and killing animals... he gets praised for now speaking out against men like himself? Also, you bring up his on field accomplishments, and before I found out that he was a sick pervert who forcing animals to rip each other to pieces was a good Saturday night... I was never impressed by his style of play. Yes, he could run the ball but it was to compensate for the fact that he wasn't very good at passing and if the game was on the line and a Hail Mary was the only thing that could win the game... Michael Vick or any other QB that has to rely that much on his legs is not the QB you need.... Tom Brady, Rodgers, Josh Allen, Montana, Young, Manning, Favre are QBs.
Let me ask you something, if Michael Vick had done even one thing he did to his dogs to a person, would you think he should be forgiven or better yet, if you have pets or did, would you still be forgiving if Michael Vick electrocuted him? I do believe in second chances, I believe in forgiveness, and redemption but not for everybody or for all things so if Vick hadn't hurt living creatures and instead committed some sort of fraud, I would be all for giving him another chance.
