Why everyone's A string breaking? 17 years of guitar playing and that has never happened to me.

its a deep mistery! In my band i always broke E and A string and my mate...never. I thnig it s depend on how you play!
I snap my wound strings at the bridge all the time. I also use thick picks and prefer to play with a heavy hand for lower notes.
I also wouldn't consider a string breaking as a "fail".
Mostly cause of how hard they are striking the strings I've only ever broken high E strings
That last one wasn't a fail! That's just called learning! That's how it works. He was doing just fine and can probably shred the poop out of it by now!
