One of the best kart racing game ever created for the PlayStation. I know everyone is focused with Nitro-Fueled, but I'm happy to see someone replay the original game on youtube now to this day! Thank you so much for uploading a longplay of CTR: Crash Team Racing (PS1) always fun to replay the original games, also excellent thumbnail on your longplay video too.

Ahhh childhood for a almost 2 hrs. I played the crap out of this game, I loved this game so much. Polar or N. Gin were always my go to until i unlocked Pinstripe or N. Trophy. I remember learning ll the course secrets to getting those platinum relics and the crystal challenges. Good times.
Dude this game was my childhood, I remember playing it when I was little. Years later and I'm now 14 watching it makes me wanna cry happy tears.

This is amazing that you’re playing my favorite 1999 game on your channel ♥️. I’ve played this a lot when I was a child. I was actually surprised when I saw this game. The only thing I wished is that it was from online. I also liked Nitro-Fueled. It has all bought us some amazing content. This will remind me how much I really love this game. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ 😁😁😁😁 👍.

Amazing how the true ending character outros are different in a few ways compared to Nitro Fueled.
And I also just now noticed something else: the confetti dropping from above during the credits! I'm guessing that only happens when you get all Platinum Relics...
Nitro Fuel upgraded everything down to the look and atmosphere but somehow it doesn't give the same 'oomph' kinda feel when you slide boost or speed up. Oh and their personal garages in the character select. But I guess for nostalgia's sake, I'll get Nitro-Fuel .

I like this version more than the remake. Not because I think the remake is worse (in fact it’s better), but I don’t really like how all the cool content like a Playable Spyro is locked behind PSN (Which I don’t have). So the remake is objectively better, butI still play the original more.

You're pause your record after you beat oxide for the first time. So there's only slide Coliseum and turbo track relic races. There are no other relic races and no ctr challenge you record this. Paused until you play slide coliseum.

I wonder is it possible to play as the bosses in this game? Cuz I do remember seeing their victory animations in the end credits.
bosses can be played as by beating the gem cups or using cheat codes in the main menu
