Ceobe is a joke compared to a time-stopping, knife-manic maid.
Hong Meiling is definitely no pushover. She sleeps on the job for a reason. Cuz otherwise the body count for the Scarlet Devil Mansion would be MUCH HIGHER.
I say she only stuggle with MC/god tier character, anyone below that won't get pass her that easily
danmaku also limited her when everyone can just shot while her option is limited
She is nowhere close to being useless like most fandom suggest, feel like Marisa is the only one she can't stop after SDM, while Reimu usaully welcome as guess
@@Zechzz Barring Spell Card Rules which puts a hard handicap on everyone in Gensokyo I think the only person that could truly defeat her is Yukari, who stands head and shoulders above pretty much everyone when she actually gets “serious” and isn’t limited by SCR.
While Meiling is often meme’d into being way too weak, she isn’t *that* strong. Hell, in her first appearance, her profile states “She is by no means a special character,”.
Perfect Memento in Strict Sense expands on this. She pretty much has no weaknesses and is well-rounded, but isn’t particularly strong(relatively). She’s stated to be a good opponent and has a constant stream of challengers for her specifically, but the only trespassers are those she can’t really do shit about.
The Fandom talks shit about Reimu and Marisa for being humans, but they later fight *Junko, Greatest Nemesis of the Lunarians even beyond Yukari Yakumo* without the *Spellcard Rules.* When victorious AKA canonically, they won’t even have the time loop elixir.
No shit Meiling can’t stop them from trepassing. Otherwise, she actually is a pretty strong gatekeeper.
@@actuallyreallybored3552I don't think she ever refered as one OP character since both her danmaku skill and fighting skill just good but not really great, people just complain how she potrayed as unreliable one while she able stand her ground and pretty durable but definitely not for lethal combat like other.
If she ever given chance to hand to hand combat she most likely able beat most character in mid fight but can't keep going for long otherwise she will overwhelmed when her opponent can go berserk with their power.
She's a veteran against women that throws sharp objects after all
