Actually all you have to do is press that button in one time to turn off and in one time to turn back on. Holding it down does turn it off but you enter debug mode then
Andrej I’m so glad you cleared this up because I think I was unknowingly turning off the optical flow while trying to lock in the trim settings. I could not figure out why all of sudden the heli would just quickly and suddenly get away from me?? That left switch is also used to lock in the trim??
So when you push it down it not only turns off the OF but does it reset all the trim settings or still keeps your original settings unless you change them then push button up which saves new trim set i guess?
On mode1 tx, do you need the RIGHT trim tab hold down for >3 seconds? And to enter debug- mode do the same >3 seconds? Its confusing: same trimtab >3sec press , how does the heli know if one wants to change pitch ( your video) or if one wants to switch optical flow off?..😮😮😮
Hi. Thank you for this tutorial. So, what is the goal to fly with an optical flow sensor? Is it for best height control or for best tracking position? Thank you
Hallo lieber Andrej ich mag deine Videos. Frage, bleibt der optische Sensor nach umstellen am Sender gespeichert und ist der optische Sensor beim Kauf schon aktiviert. Danke schon mal
@@AndrejSturm ok ... so if you turn it off using the stock TX, does it stay off when you bind to the TX16 (does it store this setting in the Flight Controller)?
Are you sure you are not just entering the "Secret Mode" like the MD 500, where you trim the cyclic and then save the new settings? Optical Flow would automatically deactivate during this process.......
Yes, what you wrote is exactly right; I just did't mention that as a secret mode in this video. So in this mode you can fly just as usual, and if you change any trims during flight, they would be saved when you exit this mode ...

Thanks for informing us of that!

@@AndrejSturm ok thanks, if the light on the controller stays solid red I’m in optical flow, got it

Thank you very much for this tip. It works also on my Eachine E120 (BO-105).
You're welcome!
Great, you must spend lots of time to research this, Thank you !

I have a c123 Champagne Color Scheme on the way i can't wait 💯💯 & i'll be ordering me a c190 next week
Nice 😂
I will try on my RC Era C123.
Push straight on the throttle trim button or with the trim switch pulling downwards while pushing on the switch? Sorry for my bad understanding.

Hi Andrej ... have you managed to find a way to program your TX16 to turn the Optical Flow sensor ON and OFF?
@@protoplasmia Hi, I tried but wasn’t able to program that.

Thank you for sharing friend. It's really useful🎉
Great Demo and Info. Thanks for doing this! 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Banggood and RC Era should be sending you all the new helicopters to test out .
Great job ... Thank you very much!
Without optical flow, it can fly longer time. 👍
But with optical flow is stability in hover right ?
thank you Andrej do you have try also with c138? when you disable or not the of when tx off ? of is on or off? regards
Hi, my C138 doesn't have the optical flow sensor.
Andrej, will this also work on a RC ERA 123? Also, why would I want to turn off optical flow sensor? Thanks!
Question is can this Option be put in a TX16S to Toggle it on and off? (From a Switch?) Challenge! 😅
I am not sure, will have to try that out 😃
Awesome thanks for the info
I seen video where she flys MUCH BETTER WHEN YOU TURN OFF THE OPTICAL FLOW!! SHE FLYS MORE SMOOTHER!! 💯
Found this video thanks
