Personally, I don't think religion belongs in public meetings at all, whether a Judaeo religion (Islam, Christian/Satanic, Jewish, etc), A multi-god (Hindu, Native, etc), or otherwise. It just doesn't belong when trying to understand and conduct governing in the real world.
Just imagine meetings had to pray to all 6 thousand something gods that are prayed to still today...you'd never get anything relevant done.
Save the worship for church. Don't waste public funds or time over personal beliefs in mythology.
There's a reason for separation of church & state. People need to remember what that is.
See that wasn’t so painful was it? Nobody burst into flames. An archangel didn’t fly down from the heavens to smite this man. Just a harmless message to embrace humanity.
