Wait until 2026 and they will likely be NACS/J3400. Then in the next few years when all the chargers switch you won't be left using adapters and a hard to sell car.
I've heard people talk about mega deals for this car. Unfortunately it is exclusively for this car it would seem. My local dealer had two IONIQ 5 N's delivered and me thinking, "oh, this will be the hottest and most desirable version of this car for quite a while, the residual might be decent enough to lease". Essentially I went to the dealer just to see if perhaps there were hidden deals (similar to IONIQ 6) that you can't resist. Instead I was told that, at $69,100, the vehicle will be worth 44% of its original value after a 3 year lease. They quoted me $1,100 a month as I was expected to pay that 56% depreciation curve. I almost laughed. Like, you're telling me in 3 years I'll be able to pick up a 601 (641 with boost) horsepower crossover the size of a CR-V for the price of a base model Camry in 3 years? At that rate you'd have to be a clown not to wait and buy then. The sales dude agreed. Note; they were only quoting $7,500 off rather than the $11,000 - $12,000 I've seen Kia dealers slash off the EV6 GT. . .
Now you have learned first hand why I tell people NEVER step inside the dealership and never talk to the "sales associate." Always use the calcs and other resources I share, email the numbers to the general manager of the dealership and have it finalized with the GM first. Then and only then should you step inside the dealership, only other time is for a test drive or to get warranty work done 😂
@@MeynMotorGroup I must've missed the "never go to the dealer" episode haha. I was just gonna let that IONIQ sit on the lot and depreciate and come back in October and see where they were at with it. It's such a cool car man. Performance Matte Blue as well. It already matched my watch band and my phone case. I was ready to make that color my whole personality 💀 I'll mess with the calculator some.
@@theodoreyoung8777 Thanks bro loved getting your take on this, I just think that rear end is a bit off 😅 but it's very interesting and I do like the front of it

No wireless car pay is actually insane for a 50k car in 2024
I love my new 2025 ioniq 6
buying used EVs is the best. Prices are very reasonable.
Cheers Kevin.
@@Excalabur50 yes sir!
I would rather wait until the mid cycle refresh, you get CCnC software and wired CarPlay and AA

So true
I can get 2 good ICE cars for the same price and maybe with money left over.
