They've spoken about this a few times in past videos, but she had a pretty poor childhood. She likely just wasn't raised in an environment where her parents let her engage with things like this. All of this with Holden has kind of been a way for her to experience these things she missed out on as a result of that more restricted upbringing. Anyway, I think it's nice that she gets to do it now through their RUclips channel. I think it's neat.

WALL-E’s sentience is an example of Simple AI (AI that’s tasked for a job and can rudimentarily learn) progresses on its own to general AI (smart human like intelligence) and i feel like his was always there because he knew when he was broken and cared to fix to while the other robots just kept going to broken and that awareness developed along with the other stimulus of Earth

Charlie Chaplin was the first to prove that physical dialogue can tell a story without the spoken word. Mr. Bean reinforced this in the television age. Fun fact: Wall-E was originally going to be Pixar's 3rd film instead of Toy Story 2.
The reason they delayed it until 2008 was because of the effects and the animation wasn't that advanced, and because they didn't have a story for it yet. They only had a one sentence plot which was: "What if humans left Earth, but they forgot to turn off the last robot?"

I saw _Wall-E_ for the first time in the theaters back in 2008. I was still a kid and my dad took me and my brother to see it. I fell as madly in love with this movie as how Wall-E did with EVE. That love has not waned over time.
PIXAR was on a hot streak, and _Wall-E_ was right in the middle of it. What was more astounding was the reach it had. My dad greatly enjoyed it, and my mom has also spoken very positively on it. This film has both immense heart and ever relevant commentary on human behavior, and with those things it has become more than a movie and instead a quintessential work of art that merits seeing at least once in your life.
For me, it is a blissful memory of a summer's day. A dream of childlike wonder. An enduring feeling, that only took a moment.
_And that is all, that love's about_
_And we'll recall, when time runs out_
_That it only took a moment, to be loved a whole life long!_

This was the VERY FIRST movie I ever saw in a cinema. I remember going with my mom, and how engrossing and frightening this movie actually was. The massive scale of the skyscrapers of trash and the Axiom itself, the GORGEOUS lighting and cinematography (as consulted by the master Roger Deakins himself, who also consulted on How To Train Your Dragon!), the hilarious visual gags, slapstick, little golden nuggets of comedy, the wonderful and imaginative sound design by Star Wars legend Ben Burtt, the list keeps going. Being an environmental activist for Extinction Rebellion for a couple of years now, the message of this movie about taking care of our home instead of our selfish impulse (the hard right choice versus the easy wrong choice) hits harder and harder every time I watch it, to the point of tears. The character of the captain is one of my favourites because of his arc, evolving from being selfish and close-minded to a deep care and love for a home he has never visited before, and the resulting bravery and righteousness that comes with it. This movie is one of my favourites in terms of animation, and while it isn't perfect, I consider it vital material for generations now and those to come. We HAVE to look after our world and those who are vulnerable, before we no longer can do so. It is all we have.

Even if the message is obvious about our failing stewardship of the planet. And as an older person, who saw Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey" decades ago, I loved all those references.
Btw, the images during the first part of the credits and credits song, sung by Peter Gabriel, illustrate major points in the history of human art while the characters are reclaiming a fertile Earth, starting with cave paintings, then Egyptian hieroglyphs, Grecian vase painting, Roman and Byzantine mosaics, Chinese classic line drawing, Italian Renaissance design and drawings, English artist JMW Turner's pre-Impressionist colour painting, French pointilist painter Georges Seurat, and finally making it as far as the post-Impressionism of Vincent van Gogh. Please consider looking at that sequence again to identify each style for yourselves.

Can't wait for you to see Big G for the first time. In his original movie he was a blunt metaphor for the terror of nuclear weapons and America, but as the decades went by it became nuanced, softened and reconceptualized. Nowadays he's seen more as a living force of nature reminding us humans that we aren't gods in control of everything. His roars have so much reverb in a theatre it rumbles in your body.

Godzilla has been a truly amazing character, representing the monsters our own actions create for us. And yeah, he has come a LONG way since those early films. They've done a pretty good job with him lately. Those roars are incredible in the theater.

I’d say all of the major robots that they show on screen have human characteristics. My favorite one would be the little cleaning guy, he actually had his own character ark.

When watching this for the first time, I thought wall-e was an animated version of "Johnny 5" from Short Circuit and Short Circuit 2. Those two movies were great 80s robot movies.

I remembered watching Wall-E with my twin sister and my parents. We begged them both at Golden Corral at age 7 to see it and they didn’t want to, but they gave up. It became my favorite movie as a young child

A lot of the concepts found in Wall-E came from sci fi short stories. I can remember reading them as a child, but I have forgotten them by title and author.

The guy singing at the very beginning of the movie (and later when you see the film Wall-E is watching) is Michael Crawford. He was the first Phantom of the Opera on Broadway

Wall-E and Eve have the best love story in all of cinema and they barely exchange words, it’s all shown through their actions. This film is beautiful ❤ My favorite Pixar film
Also as someone with pretty severe OCD that’s mostly focused on cleaning things that are dirty, I heavily relate to the little cleaning robot lol

Wall-E definitely deserves a top spot as an animated movie, but for the message I think it's the most important animated movie I've ever watched. My top movie is still Encanto followed by Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, How To Train Your Dragon trilogy and Kung Fu Panda trilogy. After that it gets very difficult as Studio Ghibli and Disney/Pixar have released many wonderful movies over the years.

Grew up watching it and love it and love Mo and I pity auto also I came up with a theory of my own that when we meet walle he is 700 years old and most likely around when he was 300 years old he became the last walle and then by 400 years his personality started to grow for the next 300 years which is when he is 700 years old and that by the end of the movie when him and eve are standing in front of the tree that was once the boot that he would be around 1,400 years old eve I probably close to the same age as well but it's harder to tell since she is new and shiny looking also I feel bad for auto cause he literally is just doing his job
