Holy crap! I didn't come to this video to learn how to drive a truck. I came here to learn how to install an omnitracs in my truck I've actually been driving for years now! Whoever put this video together needs to learn how to organize things properly and if you're going to do a video on how to drive a truck keep it separate.
So the wire cutters and strippers that were required are in fact not required! If all you do is plug in the display and connect data cable, you won't need cutters or strippers!
I wish you guys that the kidney dialysis system that would be connected to you will work as "well" as your elog and satellite, then you will understand what kind of stress I feel every days running by this F... shitt.
When facing the screen, there is a rubber boot on the left side of the device covering the reset button and micro SD card slot. If you hold down the grey rectangular button for 5-10 seconds, it will cause a soft reset.
That have got to be the worst thing I see. Get Keeptruckin. It is fast to install, work with a smart phone. Even with a DOT offer. You hand him/her the phone. A lot easily to use

I have to take it somewhere to get it installed by a pro because I don't have any ear protection. SaFeTy FiRsT!!!!!

My unit screen is not on the red light is on the side no other lights are visible what could be the problem

I have 2016 freightliner cascadia I connect all the wires but two wires yellow and green are left where do these wires connect?

i found out my cable was for newer truck.Had to replace the cable .Hope that help
