For me, the best skating I have ever played was "Disney Skate Adventure". It actually used the Tony Hawk engine and was pretty much just a Disney skin on Tony Hawk.. It may be nostalgia speaking, but that game was THE BOMB!!!
Spent so many hours on that game. But one level annoyed me. and that was a the arcade level with the alien slime machines, singing the jingle on an endless loop ._.
That game was friggin' amazing. On the hub world, I found a way to grind through the entire level, beginning at the bridge, and I would rack up about 200k points every time, and with enough speed I could loop it. It was beautiful.

The AVGN character is just an act carefully written and scripted and shot professionally, while Jontron and Caddicarus have both jokes improvised almost on the spot and then shot immediately. They both couldn't be more different from AVGN.
