That’s for the feedback. I am glad to know that it’s helping… I ll be posting a continuation video on the same topic regarding switching to subcutaneous injection soon.
Thank you Fathan!!! Sure, will make according to the time available… thinking making a continuation of this for converting the IV dose to SC. Will see 😊
Awsome informative video but sir some time in severe insulin resistance patient have to give oral metformin and glimipiride combination to make insulin affective otherwise insulin not work is there any replacement of this oral medication plz sir guide our path
We do give insulin and OHA’s together for many patients. Most of then just a single dose long acting insulin and OHA’s were very effective. Its always a trial and error, we need to follow up or monitor with FBS and PPBS. Also, don’t forget to check out the second part of this video. Thank you for the feedback 👍✌️
Jazakumullahu khaira... It was very useful... Though we study it from textbook it's always confusing while implenting... You have made it simple to follow... I work in an hospital with basic facilities... But surely it's helpful when a patient will come with dka and we have to refer after giving lifesaving measures... Sir please do video on how to choose antibiotics for variuos infections..
Thank you 😊… it’s nikon d5200. This is an old one, nearly 5 years old. You can find few images taken with it on my instagram. instagram.com/ajmal_photography? But if you are going to buy a new one, go for sony’s a6400 or a6100. But if budget is less, go for canon’s M50.
You mean to say, while converting to subcutaneous dose? Yes will do that. But while treating this way as IV infusion, it’s always human actrapid. Thank you for the feedback 😊
Yea, will try to do a video on that. Basically it’s when the anion gap gets closed, bicarbonate are above 15 and when patient is able to have orally. Thank you for the feedback 😊

If a patient comes with continuous vomiting, and his grbs is 590 mg/dl and bp is 170/ 100
Is it okay to give 2 pints NS in 1 hour
Yes. You can give, provided that you have assessed the fluid status of the patient and will require management & monitoring for HTN as well.
