Can it be seen normal cases How to distinguish it from abnormal
@@baig8003 normally you wouldn’t see it, when it’s raised, you look for the waves.
Do we need to look for doctor if it is seen without any other difficulty? What are features it is associated withwhen it is abnormal. Thank u so much for giving your precious time
@@baig8003 don’t mistake it for carotid pulse which is better felt than JVP which is better seen in 45 degree incline position. If it’s present, the patient may have associated symptoms of heart failure or fluid overload conditions, like shortness of breath, chest discomfort, edema etc . In short, clinical evaluation is required.
🤯🙃
@@ankitagiri4773 why? What happened 😅
18IU per day basel & bolus both
Needs to divide the total daily dose into basal and bolus. Watch the full video in the channel to understand better.
Very useful video explained with simplcity❤
Glad that it helped.
Sir is the basal bolus regime 50 percent basal 50 percent bolus So as per 38 units requirement 19 units basal and remaing 6+6+6 as bolus Kindly reply sir
Exactly. But that's just a dose for you to start with, need to titrate it according to the GRBS values monitored. Get the Fasting GRBS normal by increasing the basal dose first. Then increase the bolus dose for the required control for each meal.
Nice👌
sir, what is lead VI ?
There is no lead IV. We have Lead I, Lead II, Lead III, lead aVF, lead aVR and lead aVL. And also chest leads are V1, V2, V3, V4, V5 and V6.
@@AjmalShahabanthank you for responding sir, my eg however has a lead VI for rhythm. I have attached the image, i can't find what it is anywhere on the internet. i.postimg.cc/44rZZND1/lead.png
Thank you so much for your time and expertise. I am very grateful for your clear explanation. I understand that basal insulin is the preferred treatment for type 2 diabetes to manage fasting BG, but if I can only afford NPH insulin, would it be okay to take it at 10 p.m. and again at 10 a.m.? Or would it be better to take it only once at 10 p.m.?
Glad that it helped. NPH is an intermediate acting insulin. Ideally, it needs to be taken twice daily for an effective basal control. But may be tried once daily for some patients if combined with OHA’s provided blood sugars are controlled.
@@AjmalShahabanThank you so much, doctor.
👍👍❤️
Very intersting. Btw is EKG available on SE 2?
Nope. Series 4 and above. The SE versions do not have EKG/ECG
@@AjmalShahaban Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression that originals SE doesn't and SE 2 has EKG, but thanks for clarification.
Is it available in hospital
In most of the hospital where cardiology dept is functioning.
In which hospital it is available
Most of the tertiary hospitals with cardiology department.
Ok thanks
A question off the topic but what is the type of microphone you are using to record this video doctor Ajmal ?
It’s Audio Technica AT2100x. I had made a video reviewing that mic before, but later chose to enlist it. I ll give link here if you want to watch it. ruclips.net/video/qEa7XD_Frig/видео.htmlfeature=shared
the audio quality on that mic is very good@@AjmalShahaban
@@PharmacologyOrthopedics true. Best one for that price range. Only problem is, you need to be very close to the microphone as its a dynamic mic

I had AFib reading with my Apple Watch sometimes. This happened twice to me. Like, I get twice AFib reading then the third one will be Sinus Rhythm. I also got checked ECG and Chest Xray both came out normal. Idk which one to believe though. What are your thoughts about this, sir?
If it’s having every now and then, do get consulted by a cardiologist. Sometimes it may not be Afib, it can be an artifact due shake or any interference of some other metals. I have noticed that, ECG does not record properly via Apple Watch when you use third party metal straps, so make sure you are using the silicon/cloth strap or any Apple Original strap.
@@AjmalShahaban I have the silicon though. I got checked out already and done ECG and Chest Xray. As I noticed, I have the AFib reading whenever my anxiety shoots up. And I took my the ECG during the anxiety attack. Does it have to do something with the reading?
@@titoboyet2071 AFib should not be taken lightly, if you are having symptoms like tachycardia (pulse >100), palpitation, chest pain, sweating etc, you need to consult a cardiologist. I would be able to advise or give medical help this way.
@@AjmalShahaban I don't have those symptoms though apart from the palpitations which I usually get when my anxiety flares up. That's what I also noticed about my heart rate. When the watch notified me AFib, my bpm is 84 and on the normal range.
@@titoboyet2071 ok

Gosh. This video is underrated. Wish millions of people watch this! Thank you never thought it would be possible

Great video
Thank you !!! 😊
You missed camel hump t wave which can be a sign of PVC in T wave that didn't go fully in and if it did that means R on T which will be followed by Tdp a deadly rythm , some people have multiple camel hump T wave in holter and it turns out to be "an almost died" moment
Yes camel hump sign, could have been added. But I am not sure the about the T waves in PVC, have to look that up. Normally we see this sign when T wave is fused with U wave or to P wave of the next complex (in conduction blocks). By the way, thanks for the info, will look that up.
Mashallah ❤️

Nice
Thank you 😊
When to use 2/3 of the dose which is divided again to 2/3 basal and 1/3 rapid in the morning and 1/3 (50% basal and 50% rapid) of it in the evening?
2/3rd and 1/3rd can be used when you want to use Inj. Human Mixtard (30/70). But all these are rough values for us to start with, which needs to get titrated according to the GRBS values recorded after taking insulin.
@@AjmalShahaban thanks a lot bro..I wish u a good luck
