“Get in where you fit in.” That’s what she did all her life as a young child. So sad. All she wanted was to be loved for whom she was. “Norma” & then “Marilyn” was born....& even w/that still trying to “get in where you fit in.” & she thought it was enough. But realize that’s all people wanted & desired. “Sex symbol” Hollywood made her. & broke her....Literally

  • @ggoodd32503

She was an enigma because she lived a hard life and inspired many. I mean, a guy told her she only looked good because the clothing they put her in, so she modeled in a potato sack to prove anything could look good on her.
But at the same time she was a diva in the movie industry and not the nicest as Marilyn. Like for example, she was supposed to be the lead in Breakfast At Tiffany's but she kept pushing off dates and being mean to the director, at least on records, saying they couldn't get anyone better. So they did. They got Audrey Hepburn. She was reported saying they double-crossed her then putting up a chair at every screening for the show and glaring down Audrey Hepburn for the entire filming. Audrey was a huge fan of Marilyn according to reports from her, and it was sad because that was honestly the start in her career too. Not to say Audrey never did anything wrong. Idk what she did wrong, but I have trouble thinking any person we idolize is particularly unflawed or any celebrity, especially back then, was never a diva.
Idk I feel like, like with any human, Marilyn didn't do the greatest things, in the same way that she did do amazing things. She's kind of just a human.
