My mom played piano in a restaurant bar in Sherman Oaks, California in the 50s and one night Marilyn Monroe walked in. My mom said that she went to the bar and sat there with a gentleman and they were talking a long time. However, from my personal experience having an unreliable father did cause me issues, and there is actual statistical evidence that the absence of a father can have affects on not just women but any children in that situation.

My mom played piano in a restaurant bar in Sherman Oaks, California in the 50s and one night Marilyn Monroe walked in. My mom said that she went to the bar and sat there with a gentleman and they were talking a long time. My mom was nosy and wanted to hear what they were saying, so she said she played the piano softer and softer. Lol. She gathered that he was a photographer. Then Marilyn got up and went to the bathroom with her signature walk. That was a fun night for my mom.
