Parts of Apocalypse looked like they were shot in 48 FPS. That might've been a factor.
They cost more money and weren't spread out over the whole film because they also had amazing dialogue scenes.

DuShawn Mickens no...Deadpool did not have the best cgi...Just look at the creativity behind the sentinels.
In terms of those who say "Deadpool", you can't really compare the effects of Deadpool to DoFP. Deadpool had about 1/4 of the budget that DoFP had and therefore, DoFP had more money for extensive visual effects. Out of the main X-Men films, I'd definitely say these are the best special effects.

Honestly this is one of the most heart attaching trailer I have seen from a Marvel movie. Even after seeing the movie I find myself coming back to watch the trailer. Its just incredible.

This is the best X-Men movie so far.... And also one of the best CBM movies ever. And the cast, OMG. If you can't get enough with Fassbender, McAvoy, J-Law, and Hugh Jackman, try adding Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, and bunch of other superstar-cameos. I would argue this is one of the best castings ever for a CBM

All they got to do is make a genosha movie which includes time travel elements from the cartoon days of future past. Like during the ending of days to the future past change it a little to show bishop and forge talking about a plan to get rid of genosha because bishop has seen the plans to get rid of mutants... and right when they get through the time portal a sentinel mark x appears to destroy the place yeeeessss!

@@Teemo6544 Sophie Turner wasn't the problem with X-Men Apocalypse. Sure, her American accent isn't really all that great, and she slips out of it from time to time, but the thing that made that movie so disappointing was the fact that Apocalypse looked like Ivan Ooze, and Oscar Isaac's performance was just awful.
If you watch that movie, and fast-forward through any scene that actually has Apocalypse in it, it's not so bad.

SilverSoldier90 I'm quite sure that is still in the movie, during the scene when young Xavier makes contact (through Wolverine's consciousness) to his older self. Love the music during that scene, it's some of the finest soundtrack music I've heard this century (and it was composed by the film's editor!).

I'm going to guess that the original line was probably "You're afraid, I remember and Cerebro knows it" but they decided to trim it down for pacing reasons.
This trailer on it's own is a masterpice. Such a great display of the emotional drama behind the xavier and magneto story...fassbender and mcavoy being the best things that ever happened to that whole franchise, after jackman of course...

This film is the Return of the King of the X-Men franchise.
It perfectly balances the scale/emotion and has a worthy feeling of finality to it.
I get chills...well my room is pretty cold at the moment, but I'm pretty sure the chills are 90% the effects of this trailer. Can't wait!

Casting Dinklage as Bolivar Trask is a brilliant decision, it adds so much to the character.
Dwarfism is an actual mutation, but one that does not you don't get awesome superpowers. It makes sense why he hates muties so much, feeling dealt a bad hand and wants to build giant robots to compensate for his physical shortcomings.
This is actually a great interpretation.
The depth of the emotions played by the actors, the urgency of the theme (extinction), the fear and anxiety of the characters, their willingness and inner courage to defend their existence and of humanity.. are a couple of essentiel things i didn't saw and felt by watching Infinity War and the End Game, those films where a huge box office succes, but from an emotional point of view i didn't felt anything.

10 years later and still the pinnacle of marvel movies
To me, this is the mature version of Infinity War and Endgame. We didn't need two movies. We had everything laid out for us and wrapped up beautifully in one movie. There is no fat, no unnecessary moments. Everything is explained perfectly. The stakes are there for everyone. It's exciting. It's fun and you really grow to care about this world every time you see it.

I remember watching the trailers for this movie several years back. I had only recently become a fan of the franchise, especially the films featuring the original cast. X2 was my favorite at the time and I was disappointed with what happened with X3. I really wanted the old cast to have one last chance to go out on a high. Thankfully, that's exactly what happened.

i can't wait to see it!! I'm counting the days, and I'm so desesperate because I still have to wait seven weeks... Magneto and Charles heart to heart in the plane sounds so sincere and heartbreaking. And the regrets of their older versions match them in that scene so well. I just love them. I love them, I love them!

I remember this movie had more hype than TASM2, TWS and GOTG and it turned to be the best one
Age of Ultron came after and boy, was that a letdown. Seeing that version of Quicksilver... seeing that "killer robot" ie Ultron at work after seeing this Quicksilver and these Sentinels.... What a joke.
I love how Fox take Marvel heroes way more serious than Disney does. The X-Men movies are really the best Marvel has to offer, since all the MCU movies are like slapstick comedies with superheroes.

That's actually really interesting, it pretty much proves Hank McCoy's theory that time is a river. You can throw a stone into it and create some ripples, but ultimately you're not going to change it's course. They might have prevented the government from using Sentinels to wipe out mutantkind by sending Wolverine back in time, but then the government still developed their cloned supercorn or whatever that suppresses the X-gene, and they didn't prevent Xavier from losing control of his powers and killing all the rest of the X-men.

Eric Chan Logan is set in a different timeline. The original X-Men movies are in Earth-10009 these new timeline movies are in Earth-TRN414 and Logan is in Earth-17315. MCU movies are set in 199999 and most the the comic books take place in 616.
