This movie changed how I get hyped for movies from now on. I bought the tickets early and counted down the days to its release. Now, Im just indifferent to all movies. I save my expectations till I've watched the movie. I did enjoy the last Jedi though but the overall fan toxicity just ruined it all for me.

Poe's arch was decent but Holdo shouldn't have been there at all and what did Poe learn but be the cocky pilot he already is? Rey and Luke's whole arch was just dumb as Mary Sue Rey never learned anything or trained with the Jedi Grandmaster. Silly movie all around but the best of the garbage sequels. JJ Abrams really messed up the sequels with Force Awakens and nearly tanked the franchise with Rise of SKYWALKER
I think the Rose Finn arc was about setting up the scope - star WARS isn't just about rebels vs empire, there's ppl in the background the slaves, the bandits and as hinted as last - force sensitive kids who are not even included in the jedi/ sith conflict. And they don't need to. The divide is unnecessary is the message i think. The Poe arc is just a thrill setter. Yh, she should have told him the plan. And Luke's arc made sense of him understanding the big picture and choosing none of this.

This trailer might be one of the most well crafted trailers I've ever seen. I watched this trailer so many times leading up to Last Jedi, by expectations were through the roof, which is a recipe for disappointment. And when I finally saw the movie on opening night, it did not meet my expectations. It completely surpassed them. This instantly became tied with RotJ for my favourite SW movie and I've loved it ever since
Rey shouldn't be able to use a lightsaber because she has little to no knowledge of the force. A lightsaber take years of training to learn how to use it in the simplest of ways

The Last Jedi: - Misses opportunity after opportunity - Forces relationships on characters - Has a few plot holes - Adds a subplot that ultimately didn't matter - Delivered a half-baked plot twist that ultimately felt empty and unconvincing. I love TLJ. Don't get me wrong. But ESB was the triumph of Star Wars movies, and Endgame was the triumph of superhero movies. 'Nuff said.

I am a deaf man but I haven't always been deaf you see. I was born with a crappy condition called Mineres Disease and after 24 years of my life battling it, I lost my hearing to it about 4 years ago.. I may be deaf today, but I'll never EVER forgot the them to Star Wars.. As I watched this trailer, I got a sense of the sounds in my head and when it got to the end, I felt like I could hear again and it felt so magical! I had goosebumps all over me.. I know I'll never hear again in my life but when this movie comes out on December 15, I'm going to go to the movie theater and I'm going to buy myself a ticket and I'm going to watch this amazing movie, with my head held high.. Regardless if it has subtitles or not at the theater, you can count me in to be there because I will NOT let my deafness hold me back from living my life ANYMORE!!

man the hype leading up to this movie was insane. it was such a moment bro! this trailer, the theory’s, hell even the theater experience was epic. i’ll never forget it. yes this movie has its problems but i honestly will always defend it, it’s definitely still the best out of the sequel trilogy for sure.
Same here man, to everything you said. This movie is very much flawed, the second act is messy, and the whole Rose and Finn subplot does feel meandering, but man, out of the sequels, it’s the movie that actually had a positive impact on my investment in Star Wars. The moment where we cut to Luke on the island, revealing that he was projecting his image across the galaxy, is probably the most euphoric moment I’ve ever had in a theater. Will remember that forever.
Regardless how you feel about the final movie, this trailer is BY FAR the crowned jewel of all of the Star Wars sequels trailers. No wonder they were so quick to announce a Rian Johnson trilogy. This trilogy is purely magic. Also, say what you want about Disney Era SW, but Rian Johnson is the closest we will ever get to George Lucas, in the sense that he is a master auteur filmmaker. Me personally, I love The Last Jedi. It’s the only film in that entire trilogy that took bold risks. And like all SW, some worked, some failed miserably. But Rian is the only filmmaker that wrote, produced, and directed the entirety of his installment. Please give him a trilogy! I would also love to see Rian get to direct some episodes for one of the Disney+ series. He, Ram Bergman, and Steve Yedlin are the Triple Threat we need. Can’t wait for The Glass Onion. Knives Out was tremendous.

Marcus Munitions That is true in some occasions such as Star Wars but that marketing takes time and time means a series can't become repetitive or boring because that will cause a series to end and that means nostalgia can't be used as a marketing tool because the series has ended. The series also can't be stretched out. This comment probably became confusing but you probably get the gist.

This trailer might be one of the most well crafted trailers I've ever seen. I watched this trailer so many times leading up to Last Jedi, by expectations were through the roof, which is a recipe for disappointment.
And when I finally saw the movie on opening night, it did not meet my expectations. It completely surpassed them. This instantly became tied with RotJ for my favourite SW movie and I've loved it ever since

The Last Jedi:
- Misses opportunity after opportunity
- Forces relationships on characters
- Has a few plot holes
- Adds a subplot that ultimately didn't matter
- Delivered a half-baked plot twist that ultimately felt empty and unconvincing.
I love TLJ. Don't get me wrong. But ESB was the triumph of Star Wars movies, and Endgame was the triumph of superhero movies. 'Nuff said.

I am a deaf man but I haven't always been deaf you see. I was born with a crappy condition called Mineres Disease and after 24 years of my life battling it, I lost my hearing to it about 4 years ago.. I may be deaf today, but I'll never EVER forgot the them to Star Wars.. As I watched this trailer, I got a sense of the sounds in my head and when it got to the end, I felt like I could hear again and it felt so magical! I had goosebumps all over me.. I know I'll never hear again in my life but when this movie comes out on December 15, I'm going to go to the movie theater and I'm going to buy myself a ticket and I'm going to watch this amazing movie, with my head held high.. Regardless if it has subtitles or not at the theater, you can count me in to be there because I will NOT let my deafness hold me back from living my life ANYMORE!!

man the hype leading up to this movie was insane. it was such a moment bro! this trailer, the theory’s, hell even the theater experience was epic. i’ll never forget it. yes this movie has its problems but i honestly will always defend it, it’s definitely still the best out of the sequel trilogy for sure.
Watch your back then. Because the people who hate this movie, really, really REALLY hate it
Same here man, to everything you said. This movie is very much flawed, the second act is messy, and the whole Rose and Finn subplot does feel meandering, but man, out of the sequels, it’s the movie that actually had a positive impact on my investment in Star Wars. The moment where we cut to Luke on the island, revealing that he was projecting his image across the galaxy, is probably the most euphoric moment I’ve ever had in a theater. Will remember that forever.
There is nothing wrong with liking a bad movie. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Regardless how you feel about the final movie, this trailer is BY FAR the crowned jewel of all of the Star Wars sequels trailers.
No wonder they were so quick to announce a Rian Johnson trilogy. This trilogy is purely magic.
Also, say what you want about Disney Era SW, but Rian Johnson is the closest
we will ever get to George Lucas, in the sense that he is a master auteur filmmaker.
Me personally, I love The Last Jedi. It’s the only film in that entire trilogy that took bold risks. And like all SW, some worked, some failed miserably. But Rian is the only filmmaker that wrote, produced, and directed the entirety of his installment. Please give him a trilogy!
I would also love to see Rian get to direct some episodes for one of the Disney+ series. He, Ram Bergman, and Steve Yedlin are the Triple Threat we need.
