Collider Heroes' Robert Meyer Burnett Goes Comic Book Shopping

- In a new episode of Comic Book Shopping, we’re joined by filmmaker Robert Meyer Burnett to discuss some of his favorite new and old comics. If you like comics and celebrity interviews, this is your show. Each week we’re joined by a new guest, who hits up a local comic book shop with host Jon Schnepp and peruses the wares while also discussing their career, upcoming projects, and of course their favorite comic books.
In this week’s installment, Schnepp and Burnett visit House of Secrets in Burbank to discuss the comics they loved as kids and Burnett’s feature film Free Enterprise, which involves Star Trek fans trying to meet William Shatner. Burnett and Schnepp also thumb through various Star Trek comics and talk about their favorites in the franchise as well as other non-Star Trek new releases that are on shelves now.

Yes, I love RMB from Heroes! He's like that cool uncle, not the one that drinks too much at family reunions, but the one that slips you comic books to check out that your mom would never allow.
I love that there is a James Bond comic book; almost there as proof that Bond can be considered a geeky topic. Also love that even though there is so much drama with the Schmoedown Teams, these two are still really good friends.
Can you tell me about what happenned between them? I've seen several people mention it in the comics but I haven't been watching Schmoes for a while so I don't know what's going on.
Long story short: RMB left the Four Horsemen faction in the Schmoedown to join the Lion's Den, and he Schnepp split apart as Team Heroes. RMB and Marc Andreyko are now teaming up for competitions, and Schnepp teamed up with RMB's self-proclaimed nemesis, Hector Navarro.
You guys should have a contest where Collider viewers can enter to win a comic shopping experience with Schnepp

Dude, I remember watching Collider in the lead up to Force Awakens in late 2015. It really was the SportsCenter of fandom media. It was so perfect that I knew it was too good to last. Corporate meddling just ate it alive and we, the fans, were given the unfortunate task being forced to watch its agonizinlgy slow death day by day.
Random shout out to Dennis: you're slaying the heck out of these videos, sir! Such a simple idea -- so much fun to watch. Judging by the views and like/dislike ratios, it looks like it's striking the right chord with fans and newcomers alike.
Not sure who you have doing the music for this show....but I dig it. My foot was tapping the whole time.

This was the first episode I watched. It's great! Jon your the king sweaty. Now I have a bunch of cool content to watch. Also I'm a loner and just getting into comics. This is such a cool format to get suggestions!

This show has great production and content....!...I remember watching the first episode where Schnepp was brought with Campea to talk comicbooks movies and it was more like some guys trying to dialogue in a garage...Now Shnepp has become a great leading presentator!
When I saw they were at House of Secrets, I fully expected a cameo by Amy. That would've been cool.

It'd also be interesting to see people like the Schmoes on here. Ellis doesn't read and Harloff probably only reads Star Wars, so it'd be cool to educate the uneducated lol.

Schnepp is over 7 feet I think. He was taller then me and I'm 6'11. Though the hair helps.
