@@Tory-JJ it deals 2 damage types that are the easiest to treat, so sure it will kill, a lot faster if you use more darts or a hypo, but unless you can get rid of the body they will be coming back. @@Tory-JJ If you're a doctor with a little experience it's really easy to see when someone is suffering from lexorin poisoning and epi them (epi purges lexorin). Airloss and bloodloss is also really easy to get rid of, so if the person you've killed ever gets to medbay there's a good chance they're getting revived. Amatoxin (if you have access to it) will REALLY fuck up your target though, as there's currently no way to revive someone past 200 toxin damage without borging them. I had a game where a botanist was self antagging and feeding people amatoxin. He managed to take out about a third of the crew (including me as RD, who got 1 damage away from 200). As nukie you can also grind the plasteel in that room to get a lot of plasma, faster. Also helps you with preparing pyrazine or something like that, the anti-heat med, which is insanely useful with puncturase. Use the microwave if you go that road cause it needs to heat quite a lot.
Hey man, I've got some video topic suggestions from my last few months of play. Odds and ends that people seem to muck up a bit too often, and things I want to learn about. - Atmospheric chemistry. using mixers canisters and condensers to make useful chemicals with atmospherics is a blossoming field! - Cooling systems for hyper-convection printing. 9 times outta 10 when i ask atmos to do it, science cooks. I don't like stepping on their toes and doing their job for them but i also would like to survive the installation. - Goofy chef things, if any exist.
Playing on my local test server (trying to find pathways for 'unexpected' [no chem-master] chemical use that do... anything of note, even with a chem. synth. kit), I'm not seeing hypodarts injecting chemicals when thrown into an Urist McHands. They inject 1u when meleed with, but doesn't seem to inject anything at all when thrown through control-q, even in combat mode. Is there some trick to throwing them, controls-wise? Or is this one of those systems that isn't enabled by default on test servers?

Chemical warfare is now significantly more difficult since you need to order chemicals now.
To those unaware, you can dissolve pills in ANY reagent, not just water. You can also grind pills to get the reagents back as well.
Lexorine is good for getting someone down, but not keeping them there.
Especially if people are aware you have Lexorine.
You should read what it does. Lol ot keeps them there and it's unlikely you have charcoal.

I literally just used 2 hypo darts full of amonia toxin. Hit QM with 2 then watched him struggle till he died a quiet death
Amatoxin is a very good choice too and cheaper. Also space shrooms can have amatoxin as well

I'm surprised that no one ever talks about fluorinic acid, it's a 11 caustic damage per U and med never makes caustic meds.
Nope. It's 11 caustic per 3 units
I see your fluorosulfuric acid and raise you polytrinic acid - 13 caustic damage per unit.
