They arent actual 7 ninja swordsmen of the mist. They were not given those swords because of merit, they just stole them. Those swords are passed down from generations to the strongest swordsman that isnt the mizukage. Calling these kids 7 ninja swordsman is blasphemy. Though I like that the show tells the viewers that they are weak compared to the real thing. Chojuro pretty much one shots all them while proving they arent worthy. Chojuro also mentions " if you can take a cut, then you will never sever bone." I love that the show does a good job at telling the audience why the former 7 were the legends people feared.

Yagura may have been a crazy genjutsu-enslaved Mizukage, but the man created some incredible shinobi. The last demon swordsman was killing people with a kunai in his teeth, these kids couldn’t harm a fly.
I wish we got to know how Yagura was really like before he was under the genjutsu because his personality when he met Naruto was nothing like how people said he was like. They called him a cold heartless killer but he seemed nice and cool when Yagura met Naruto

A few questions: How do these kids have some of the Swords?
Last time I checked, Suigestsu had Zabuza’s Sword, Killer Bee had Kisame’s Sword, and Omoi had Ameyuri’s Sword. Any answers?

I'm guessing since Mangetsu edo summoned all the 7 swords in the GNW for himself and the other edo 7 sword members, after defeating them the swords were collected and taken back to the hidden mist
Kyle Cherry bruh after the war everybody gave the swords back to kirigakure but sometime samehada will escape and find killer bee again
The main issue I find about them is that guy holdin Kisame sword like doesn't his sword choose who he wants to be loyal to and if it doesn't like the welder of the sword won't it just do what it did to Guy when he was fighting Kisame anyways I'm pretty sure that the sword prefers Killer Bee over that brat holding the sword

The better question is how or why the mist took Samehada from bee. It’s clearly sentient and had a fondness for bee that was so strong, it betrayed Kisame, so what gives?

Previous generations use to other Hidden Mist blades before, samehada and The Executioner's blade so
I think raiga's daughter is the only one who should have that weapon everyone else seemed off like right when she holds it and says shes holding her fathers sword felt like it was very honorable for her but for everyone else it seemed like child's play.

So how did they "get back" samehada from bee and the executioner blade from suigetsu? Didnt they have it at the end of shippuden?
The Executioner Blade was taken from Suigetsu by Samurai when he and Jugo were captured. The weapons were then voluntarily given back to the Mist Village after the war ended.

Basically, a bunch of older kids pressured kagura into lending them the keys to the car and then crashed it
After watching the Funato arc, i can say that Buntan, Kyoho and Hebiichigo deserve the swords as they have used it efficiently. Buntan and Kagura being the topnotchers. Though my favorite is Hebiichigo. :)

Of course they weren't even close. Shizuma (wielder of Samehada) is 18 years old, so it's safe to say that the others are also 16-18 years old approximately. Except for Shizuma I think they are Chuunin lvl, not even Jonin. In ten years maybe ^^
Buntan is 14, Hebiichigo is 14, Kagura is 14, Ichirota is 16, Shizuma is 18, Kubikiribocho guy is 18, and man with mask is 20. (Sorry I didn’t know the names.

These delinquents are extremely full of themselves and think that they're unstoppable because they've stolen the seven swords. There is some basis for the Samehada being an effective anti-Jinchuriki weapon, but only in the hands of a competent wielder like Zabuza.

You know how Suigetsu was just popping up here and there? I wanted him to waltz in, yell at them all, cursing their names, _shoot them all_ , grab the swords, and walk away. I would've enjoyed that way more. I mean, he could EASILY overpower the brats, and fulfill his Quest to get all the swords. You also know how they were mostly picking off of relation? Well, _Suigetsu's_ brother was the leader, and could wield _all_ the swords, so, he'd take _much_ better care of them, by decapitating all of the stupid little brats trying to impersonate the 7 Ninja Swordsmen. _Problem solved._
Also, how did they get the swords back from Suigetsu and Bee? Suigetsu I kinda understand, due to Mangetsu reverse summoning the swords in Ninja World War No. 4, But how'd they get Samehada? The _THING IS CONSCIOUS AND HAS OPINIONS ON PEOPLE-_ how do you retrieve it?

I kinda wonder, why Suigetsu, Kakashi and Killer B can't keep their blades? I can understand Suigetsu but Samehada grow interested in Killer B and Zabuza (maybe ) gave away his blade so that should be enough to keep their blades. The blades survived the jutsu Raiga cast; only Raiga was reduced to ashes. The blades were shown in Naruto Shippuden during the war arc.
