Raiga was the most confusing ever, he was a filler only character in the original series then became canon when he was apart of the seven swordsman of the mist during the battle with might guys father, now he has a daughter, in the sequel. Like holy hell.

The weakest team ever that they lost to guys who even weren’t genins yet.
To be fair, more than half of them were taken out by the Mizukage, and almost all of them are genin themselves with no experience using these stolen weapons.
@sean bowman I did not mention Buntan at all in my comment. I will say that, of the seven (aside from Kagura who is properly trained and had to be coerced into joining them), she is probably the most skilled of them, or at least the one that understands the weapon she's using the best.
She still had no prior experience actually using the weapon before her fight with Sarada.
They really thought they was going to start a war because they were bored yet some of them lost to academy students
TO BE FAIR THEY LOST TO ACADEMY STUDENTS WHO COULD PROBABLY BODY A CHUNIN (at this moment in that part of the anime because nowadays theses sons of guns can probably solo Konohamaru with most ease) and the fact these academy students are related to LEGENDS

One of my favorite Sharingan abilities is the Copying. When I watched Shippuden I was so disappointed that they barely ever copy
because they gave the sharingan overpowered abilities instead of actually developing the sharingan's usage of copying jutsus
it's a dumb ability that even kakashi quit doing after land of waves. literally all it's doing is cancelling out their attack and draining your own chakra when instead... you could counter their attack.

If have 1 tomoe it doesnt mean you cant copy ninjutsu. More tomoes means faster reflexes and better Perception

Still Naruto fought him until his death. She dosent know that he suicides. It's common. There is no way she can know how her father died. The Last she heard about him was his fight with Naruto.
She's not wrong... it probably was difficult to manipulate her junior, to access the armoury where those swords were just lying there.
It's not like the Sharingan requires a traumatic experience to unlock, and massive amounts of chakra and concentration to use properly, with the risk of going completely blind or killing someone...
i mean mangekyo will make you go blind inevitably unless you know another person willing to give you there eyes so you can get eternal mangekyo Sharingan and the Sharingan is very fickle and uses a lot of chakra to maintain unless you have huge reserves of chakra most genin or even low chunin will struggle to maintain it

for somebody whos "new genin of the mist" they weave jutsu really slowly...
So Buntan hasn't mastered or didn't used the true true Thunder Armor since in Pokemon when Swellow got the thunder armor from a lightning, its whole body got covered in gold, but Buntan didn't got that in here.

So... I know Kishi LOVES ignoring the weaknesses of sharingan, but isn't the whole "psyche them out by copying jutsu" a net loss for the uchiha? They have to expend the chakra for the jutsu and the sharingan, while the other person just spends chakra on the justsu, meaning that if the other ninja turns it into a war of attrition the uchiha loses. Sharingan obviously still disgustingly op, but the copy use for it seems like an inefficient way to fight. Wouldn't it be better to copy a ton of jutsu, then respond with a jutsu that counters the opponent instead of the same one?

Well that jutsu obviously doesn't take up much chakra since buntan was spamming it the whole fight also the whole point of copying was to find an opening was it not? Which is why sarada won while buntan was busy on her copying her jutsu she didn't even notice sarada putting her under a genjutsu

They have shown that Sharingan doesn't fare well in attrition but also Uchihas have pretty strong chakras, besides, in this situation where she doesn't even know one single middle ranged jutsu she would need to copy her opponent's to keep up
The uchiha do have stronger chackra so perhaps that makes up the difference. Also the series does mention that sarada lacks stamina so yeah she would lost a battle of atrition but she doesnt need to as that was never her plan. Her plan was to litterally use her opponents move against her by using her opponents lightning to create hydrogen wich she could then weaponize with a paperbomb, similar to how sasuke used itatchis fire style to create a thundercloud to power his kirin jutsu as sasuke would also lose against itachi if it where about strength and stamina alone

A one tomoe have access to to same abilities as three tomoe but those abilities get stronger with the increase in tomoes.

But he noted he thinks of sarada as a female sasuke so he gave her glasses to look less intimidating and cuter. In his character profile of Sarada, he writes the glasses are just an accessory to hide her resemblance to Sasuke
