    Love it. My granddaughter is at the age (7) where she likes to do her own hair and loves hair scrunchies and these.

    These are really pretty! They look complicated, but are so easy to make. I definitely will try this pattern out. I look forward to the other scrunchies. Thank you;

      You are welcome. I never understood why people put music to tutorials lol. I tried music on a few of my videos over the years but they just annoyed me 😂

    I love your teaching style! Thank you so much for using both U.S. and U.K. stitch names. That really helps. I use patterns with both and I always have to stop and remember which one goes with that pattern.

      Sorry I was unable to show them in hair, I don’t have any children I could put one in as my boys have all grown up and my dolls head has pink, purple, blue hair so not the best for showing if scrunchies. A quick Google for this style would show you a good idea of what they are like though.

    • @SoniaJones
      @SoniaJones  2 года назад

      Hi you can use any yarn you like really. I used a basic DK weight acrylic yarn for these. Just adjust stitch count to match your yarn size. So larger yarns need less stitches, thinner yarns will need more stitches.

    Lol, patented? I’ve been making those for years!

    • @SoniaJones
      @SoniaJones  2 года назад +2

      I don’t know what you mean? I never said they were designed by me or I was the only one that made them?. I state you can’t use my videos or written pattern without my permission as they are my copyright. The design is older than me and anyone can make them, write their own pattern or do videos about them, they just can’t use my videos and written pattern.

  • @birgitmitchell5873

    Interesting thay you copyright your scrunchie patterns. Copyrights, esecially international ones, take a long time and are very expensive. They are even more expensive to enforce and usually require a lawyer.

    • @SoniaJones
      @SoniaJones  4 месяца назад

      The copyright is for my video not the pattern and copyright is automatic in the UK so not costly at all. The pattern is free for anyone to use as they want, just don’t use my video and claim it as your own.

      Super, thanks for the response. I feel a lot more comfortable trying this lovely scrunchie. I've never seen those coils, they are so cute and would look darling on my granddaughter.
