    • @jasonmelendez5216
      @jasonmelendez5216 4 года назад +1

      @@fryeexe9726 that's what I am saying. Blocker side shots are hard for goalies to judge, high, low, inside, outside. Left handed shooters have the advantage over goalies that catch with their left block with their right, the puck is already on that side so they simply have to make a fake and shoot.
      The low side between the blocker and the top of the leg pad is the most difficult. They were able to exploit his weakness; his blocker side.

      @@fryeexe9726 I was a goalie for a season when I was a Squirt. Basically something for my brother to rip clap bombs on. I am a right handed shooter and I always come down the left, hook in, and shoot for that low side. 9 times out of 10 it goes right in and I dont even have to look for it. The net hasn't moved in over 100 years of the game. Once the mental image is in your head you just know where to go. Best of luck and never stop skating. ✌✌🏒🏒

      As a goalie, I struggle with the blocker side too, way lower reaction time than the glove, especially because holding the stick weighs the whole arm down. It does seem that Binnington is too stationary on his blocker side and isn't able react i time to make those saves.
