It's living, breathing, enjoying life, like childhood all over again. That simplicity of childhood when the drag of ownership didn't exist, the worries were less.

Means choose. Means know what you are doing, and choosing it. Mean meaning in what you have, say, do, wear, be conciusness, mindful. Present, conected. Aware. Choose who you are and who you want or dont want to be. Say no, like you say, if you dont want to. Choose, to much, not enought. Were do you want to live, whit who, alone?... Your house, your mind, your body, your others in your life, your work, day by day, month by month. Choose... Be aware, what do you really want, not judge, just accept the real you (own), not more, not less. :) Thats what I am learning still now. I started 2 month ago, and I feel so much better, in every aspect of my life.

Hey, you put words in what I have been feeling within the last months: "in your death bed, what are you going to remember: the things, the cleaning the house, the obligations... or the fun, the sharing with friends, the travelling?", This is a thought that has been a lot with me lately (always, really). Thanks for saying it out loud. I never comment in youtube vids, but I had the urge to do so here. So thank you.

your content is so refreshing to see in this sea of all the 'minimalism' videos. yes the most important part is the whole mindset/lifestyle shift instead of just focusing on decluttering your items etc. your videos look really nice amd your voice is so soothing to listen to! i've just discovered your channel but i'm now down a rabbit whole watching more of your content! you deserve way more subscribers. keep it up! - love, from a fellow filmmaker

Just came across / on board with you Enjoyed your video and your way of thinking. For me ( just a beginner ) minimalism is living without so much "stuff" (which just sits there and became what you represents ) and feel lighter on this earth and freer to just be and do other things which gives us happiness and more to life on all levels....Not to just sit there and look at all this over stuffed "stuff" which took us over. Now I'm beginning to be able to enjoy Life as it is daily with my choices with things to do or people to be with and build on that.

Wow - What a great video Conni.
    These words certainly hit home
with me. Mind over matter or
Mindset is an entire way of
    thinking and living. No matter
what we do. Am a mimimalist
but as you said getting rid of
things is only stage one. Reckon
I am on roughly on about a stage
4 or 5 😃 but there are surely some
other areas in my lifestyle / mindset that need working on.
Naturally minimalism is an ongoing process and we learn
ever step of the way. So I was
    thoroughly grateful to hear this.
    Many thanks and much love.

Sometimes it’s a bit hard for me to explain to my family and friends why I’m a minimalist, but your video expresses everything I’m feeling and doing since I became a minimalist.
Thank you very much for putting the pro minimalism arguments into such a thoughtful and beautiful video. PS: I’m still working on saying no to people who invite me to go somewhere I don’t want to go and next time I can honestly say that I prefer to spend my time more intentionally. Who knows, maybe they’ll even join me :)

You are so awesome! Great video, Conni. The info you presented here gets me thinking and puts me back on track for where I want to take my life. Thank you!! I'm a new subscriber. I've been stuck on 'level one' for the past few years. I've gotten down to fitting all my stuff into my little Toyota, but then I look and find that I don't use even half of those things. It's funny how little we humans need. I wish that I could leave my job - it consumes half of the 5 days (each week) that I must spend there. And my work-place is a mentally toxic environment. I need an income so I feel shakled to it. But I'm thankful that I have an income that meets my needs. Some people don't. Thanks, again. Looking forward to your next video. All the best to you!!

    • @ConniBiesalski
      @ConniBiesalski  4 года назад

haha yes, we truly need so little to feel fulfilled. Is there a way you can plan your job exit and either work on starting your own business or find a new job that has healthier energies? If anything, especially when having to deal with toxic work environments, I can only highly recommend to meditate daily and tune into feelings of gratitude frequently. Also, welcome to my little RUclips world, so glad to have you!! xx

I teach yoga. Deep breathing in a yoga pose I find uncomfortable makes the pose easier to handle. For me questioning everything is like an uncomfortable yoga pose. I breathe. Stay. Observe. Stay with the pose and the questions that rise from the pose. Release when its time. Repeat.
