Gameplay looks perfectly fine, has some flaws but nothing that is shit, garbage or whatever like people try to claim. Needs stealth detection and ai worked on, and some things like that, but nothing yet that is THAT drastically bad by any means. People have become spoiled and act like anything that isnt 8+ maybe even 9-10+ is trash. 5 is average, 6 is good, and 7+ is just more and more closer to masterpiece at 10 which actually are usually rare. I have plenty of criticisms, but unreasonable criticism is not constructive or supportive of the cause. That just ends up becoming ramblings of a hate mob that isn't reliable criticism.

I only call a couple games RDR2 and Maybe Cyberpunk (now) being 9-10 games for me, but I enjoy alot of things that might not be perfect, Starfield, Helldivers 2 and had a good time and recognize they aren't perfect games. This has criticisms but nothing crazy at this point and there are alot of gameplay and opinions from people that played it out there.

From what I can gather, the reception is pretty much a mixed bag, But what made people really dislike Outlaws was the IGN First footage of Tatooine. The footage was clearly from a much older build and was riddled with technical and visual issues and that gave a very bad impression to everyone. However the newest footage now, looks pretty decent and a lot more polished. Sure it doesn't do anything extra-ordinary gameplay wise and somethings are immersion breaking like Bonking a stormtrooper on the head to knock him out barehanded against his helmet among others. But the overall package looks interesting and I am indeed Cautiously optimistic as well. Everything will be uncovered once we see reviews come out. I just hope the PC port is decent at launch and I wouldnt have to wait 6-8 months of additional optimization to finally play it.
I dont agree about mechanics and story wise, technical wise, I think the graphics and density of everything is cool, but agreed with you on animations. Especially facial ones.

Funny eneogh, the legend smugler we play as trust this stranger without reason, and do as he said. She go to a cantina not so far of the ship, to met the leader of the most powerful criminal syndicate of the entire planet. And literally on the door of the cantina some dude sell you an invitation to met this criminal overlord. And on and on, the writing seems dumb beyond redemption, and the dialogue was bad.
The price is insane. Live service games are trash. Missions hidden behind paywalls is trash. The little girl knocking our fully armored bad guys with a weak punch to the head or the chest is immersion breaking.
i'm 50/50 on a person judging an experience without playing it themselves. i can understand watching a walkthrough and knowing how much value that experience has to you. but i don't understand people seriously criticizing thing that haven't even been released. i don't understand people that have 15 minutes or less on their playtime and they write a review for something that is much , longer.
Don't know your channel and videos. But this one just popped up in my recommendations and i gotta say its so cool and refreshing to see some push back. And i don't know if thats your usual style (usually not a great a fan of it myself, sorry 😅). What i mean is this kinda energetic or sarcastic way and making fun off of the reacted on content. It kinda reminds be of a lot of this hate bubble itself, only that at least your mindset and reasoning is a lot more friendly and ... well ... reasonable. So its kinda cool to basically see their weapons being used against them in some way. So thanks for that, and good luck with said push back. Very brave in my opinion. These toxic hate creators are a real pest and even more annoying are their communities and commenters popping up under every at least remotely positive or even just neutral video on the topic.
I really appreciate that! I def try to stand by what I consider is common sense in the face of such foolishness. I am a just a nice Canadian guy who likes games and usually do different types of content. I expected the push back, none of that is suprising. However, comments like this really make me happy!
I want to be excited for this game. The gameplay looks great but I'm just not sure about the story and characters. I haven't enjoyed the last couple of ubisoft games due to the grindiness and lackluster story telling. That said I'll gladly drop 15 bucks to try it out for a month. If it's good, I'll buy it. If not... oh well.
I especially love the amazing double chin the most beautiful character ever made has. Her manly features really make her the girlboss I always wanted to play. Let’s hope Ubiwoke makes more of these
I agree on playing the game yourself and then state your claim. Rather than relying on other people's opinions with cherry picking negatives. While painting with a wide brush for the whole game to be trash based on a few second clips and opinions. Unfortunately, Ubi Soft has a bad reputation of DEI domination in their games (and other recycled gameplay design choices). The one coming in November may be the newest in that reguards. So I understand it triggers people when the name Ubi Soft is involved. And why they do not bother playing the demo first as they should before creating their video content. I have high hopes for Star Wars Outlaws. And I hope they prove people wrong on many of their complaints and fears.. (I am eager to see more Console gameplay previews).

But so do a lot of other games, so maybe the game will still be fine even if the combat and stealth aren't great. On the other hand, it is definitely no lie that Ubisoft has been attempting to control the views of small influencers who they granted access to. So taking the opinions of people who have gotten to play the game at this point is like taking the view of a car dealer on how good the cars he sells are. I might be inclined to believe those who were given a chance to play the game if that story about ubisoft pressuring one of them to edit their video hadn't come out.

I dont disagree after beating it, the main story was not great imo, the side quests and world were good. I know they made a pile of updates to improve on it, but their initial design choices could have been better. I gotta give wachdogs a try!

I lost interest in Forbidden West halfway through and only in retrospect I realised it was because they had uglified Aloy. And yet compared to Kay she is a stunner. I don't necessarily need characters overly sexualised like Eve or 2B, though I enjoyed Stellar Blade immensely. Why not have a Jean Seberg or Wyona Rider character? If you have a female outcast to me it would make sense if she would use her female assets to manipulate people, but as Kay has no female assets, fat chance.

Hypnotic said the game looks decent in some areas. I think so too. But the issues are with the gameplay mech and AI. I think the game will look fine once released. I'm more worried about the obvious tech AI issues and bugs that will riddle this game. For as much as they are charging, I do NOT want to deal with that. I'm a die hard SW fan and I'll pretty much eat up anything they release. But I'm also real and honest about their product, too. If it's good, it's good. If it's crap, it's crap.

@@McdizzleGaming It would be cool but that's not possible. when every game would be a 9/10 then the bottom of the rating would raise and accommodate for the raise in quality. what would happen is that a really bad 9/10 will become the new 1/10 but this rating isn't comparable to ratings from the time before. the same as if you watch at movies from the 60ies and 70ies. you will rate them quite differently than people at that time because the general quality of movie making has risen. you compare them with movies, the original audience could not imagine. this has happend in reverse in gaming for a multitude of reasons in the past decade. that's what makes people so angry. it always sucks seeing the quality fall through the bottom. a 10/10 game today wouldn't be a 10/10 game in the 90ies gameplay wise. todays 10/10 games are just normal games from the 90ies. just look at the dark souls series. it's just hard games that don't take you by the hand. they drop you into the game and let you find stuff out yourself. they just treat you as a human being with a brain you like to use instead of some monkey who would stop playing if he wouldn't have an arrow guiding him through the world and the most simplistic progression system in the world. just look at star wars outlaws. does this game look for you like an achievement to beat or more like something you breeze through to 'enjoy the story' like in a fucking movie. and it doesn't even matter. if you beat elden ring it's like a badge of honour across gamers just like every other difficult game. in the 90ies every game was like that. not as hard but every game had it's parts you could not skip through but had actually to use your brain and skill. this is all that is needed to do a 10/10 game today. give the player a cool challenge and your game can look like literal shit and even be not that good and people all over the world will still play it. just look at the stupid fall guys games. people just thirst for a challenge. any challenge. gamers don't want to breeze through a game even if it has good story. they wanna grow, become better and yeah in the end have the feeling that they accomplished something that took skill and dedication. this is not rocket science.

because you buy 'decent'. if you would only buy good games, they wouldn't try to get away with decent. but because they can get away with decent you will get something even worse in the future.

It would be cool but that's not possible. when every game would be a 9/10 then the bottom of the rating would raise and accommodate for the raise in quality.
what would happen is that a really bad 9/10 will become the new 1/10 but this rating isn't comparable to ratings from the time before.
the same as if you watch at movies from the 60ies and 70ies. you will rate them quite differently than people at that time because the general quality of movie making has risen. you compare them with movies, the original audience could not imagine.
this has happend in reverse in gaming for a multitude of reasons in the past decade. that's what makes people so angry. it always sucks seeing the quality fall through the bottom. a 10/10 game today wouldn't be a 10/10 game in the 90ies gameplay wise. todays 10/10 games are just normal games from the 90ies. just look at the dark souls series. it's just hard games that don't take you by the hand. they drop you into the game and let you find stuff out yourself. they just treat you as a human being with a brain you like to use instead of some monkey who would stop playing if he wouldn't have an arrow guiding him through the world and the most simplistic progression system in the world.
just look at star wars outlaws. does this game look for you like an achievement to beat or more like something you breeze through to 'enjoy the story' like in a fucking movie.
and it doesn't even matter. if you beat elden ring it's like a badge of honour across gamers just like every other difficult game. in the 90ies every game was like that. not as hard but every game had it's parts you could not skip through but had actually to use your brain and skill. this is all that is needed to do a 10/10 game today. give the player a cool challenge and your game can look like literal shit and even be not that good and people all over the world will still play it. just look at the stupid fall guys games. people just thirst for a challenge. any challenge. gamers don't want to breeze through a game even if it has good story. they wanna grow, become better and yeah in the end have the feeling that they accomplished something that took skill and dedication. this is not rocket science.
