I'm human too and yeah, Jimmy's hard to look at and to listen to. Danny was the man but the "sh!t" nobody ever talks about. It's just, Danny "Good" and Jimmy --- "not the guy".
It's amazing how well Jimmy could do Danny's songs and how well Danny could do Jimmy's songs.
proud to be from the gator country!
Hatchet was cooler than the beetels and Elvis ,but i was a 70s teen
They were a great band........
I really liked Jimmy's Farrar vocals. Danny Joe Brown, impossible to match his vocals. I also love the 2 albums that Jimmy sang on, Beating the Odds and Take No Prisoners, not a bad song on either one. Always will be 2 of my favorite albums. Jimmy was the right choice!
Danny Joe Brown was singing. At Wichita Kansas show
...(those) Molly hatchet no more...:-((
True. They are all gone now. RIP and the crew that calls themself MH now is a sham.
In 1980 I took a flight down to Jacksonville, got seated by this model type chick named Susi Bee. She was really fucked up on quualudes but was very friendly in a bitchy kinda way. Gave me some 'ludes & told me she was meeting Dave Hlubek at midnight & offered me a ride to the beach home I was going to. she told me the band had fired Danny Joe Brown for shooting coke with his insulin. I thought it was B.S. & I didn't believe her but when we landed there was Dave. (I was front row in Omaha right in front of him so I knew it was the man.) The ride fell thru cause they were heading to a band meeting. Got his autograph tho. Plus free ludes.
One thing I loved about when I moved to Jacksonville in the early 80’s use to see this guy and this band everywhere here❤️❤️❤️pier 7 and playground south was the best shows ever especially w Tesla opened for them
Awesome!
If Danny Joe ain't singin'...it ain't Hatchet...
I saw them n ‘76,’77,’78 and 80-83
