Something I love about the scene after Ai’s death is the Ruby scene not only because she was a fan, not only because she got to know Ai as a person, but because Ai was her mother. It works on all fronts but the latter hits the hardest for me. Imagine if your own loving parent died and all you saw were the people who scoffed at it, made fun of it, and even teased it. I felt bad for Ruby not because she was a fan, but because she was a child that just lost her mother. It is absolutely heartbreaking.
I actually disagree that Ai wouldn't love her kids If she knew. 2 fans who loved her so much became her kids. Her lie worked so much that she was blessed with those who loved her. If I were in the position of Ai and I learned that the doctor I wanted to deliver my baby and the fan who leaned on me until they died became my baby. I would ugly cry and feel blessed, so happy to know that the heavens brought the people who wanted to love me to me. Having to earn your child's affection is not an easy task. But she did it. Thats why ep 1 hit me so hard. I work in entertainment so this show hits different. I've lost a best friend to murder because of a jealous onlooker. I can't put into words how real this to me. That's why I'm afraid to read the manga and experience it again. Episode 1 left me needing a drink.
Agree and manga spoiler Aqua knows that he is binded by ai death he wants to be free to fully embrace his role and move on we know because we see it. When he thought that everything was over he can't help himself but smiling at the rising sun as he leave his past as gorou behind and step forward and even went as far to attend his own corpse funeral. But alas we know what happened. he was wrong His father still alive and that's in on itself is a mockery to aqua freedom so he goes back to droves those who close to him away to make them save include ruby "they don't deserve to be with me in this slum they have already moved on" and continued the path of revenge.

I think it's easy to look at Aqua and Ruby as not really being Ai's kids, but they were with her for years, with her as a parental figure. I understand the argument for Aqua, (although I still feel the same way as with Ruby) but with Ruby at least, she really was like a mother.
if we stop to think, aqua's personality changed a lot because of Ai. She really was his mother and he can't see that because of his wrath. Probably when everything is solved we will finally see he calling her "mother".
Aqua canonically never had a mother in his previous life. It’s revealed in the manga. That’s why he wants to avenge Ai, it was his only mother he’s ever known.
For me personally, I didn't really cry while Ai was saying her last words, and was just kind of holding it in. Then it showed her fans at the dome crying and that broke me cause it reminded me of when my own "idol" passed away (a certain pig). I personally wouldn’t say ruby and aqua aren’t ais children. neither ruby or aqua had present mothers (or fathers for that matter) in their previous lives. this is implied to be the reason the god(?) chose them to reincarnate into ais children. the souls of children without mothers were recycled and given to a mother with “soulless” (possibly stillborn) children. As much I hate to dethrone my #1 fav manga for thisThis manga managed to do it. It became my new all-time favorite manga. But trust me if they try to pull some "POWER OF FRIENDSHIP good for the sake of good yay funnn" kinda stuff and the Father is not dead by the end of the series, it's falling down to #2. I do not care, I will not be satisfied unless the Father is dead by the end of the series, as a manga reader i have even more reason to hate that piece of crap and while all humans have the right to live, that man is an exception to that.
Oshi no Ko was the first anime to actually break me. I still get creeps from just thinking about THAT scene and guess what? RUclips doesn't give a shit 😭
I dont know why but i have seen somewhere that aqua will publish the truth about them being their children to save their teacher though i dont even know if my brain just dreamed off it or smth
I alrdy read the summary of the manga of the chapter I thought she was gonna die at the first chapter but ended up dying in chapter 10. I wasnt affected by episode 1 since Ive been reading this for so long.
I loved the first episode, but I feel like the story goes down a totally different path going forward, than it did in this first episode. That makes it harder to get into the story.
Even with the reincarnation factor- Realistically and biologically they're still children. The human brain can only process things to a degree at that age- the things the hormones do to you at that age with "adult" memories or not you would still be victim to the physical effects of being traumatized and physiologically be bonded with Hoshino as a mother even if they possessed memories of another life. If anything I think holding onto adult memories and skills as a baby would make their emotional and cognitive skills WORSE. Not to mention when "Ruby" died she was STILL A KID. That being said I don't think their love is "Fake". Uncomfortable for them at times yes- but it's clear they still loved her as a mother.
oshi no ko ep 1 accidentally created the biggest hole in my heart, when they killed ai i unplugged my computer and it took me tree days to finish the episode because i got so emotionally attached to her during the movie🥲
Wtf why are you saying their children werent real. She gave birth to those twins no matter who they were in their past life they have a new life now thanks to Ai and they were as loved as much as they could by her.
I feel that calling it 1st episode is disrespectful, this was in all aspects a movie, that run over our MC's and at the end hit us like a train. I guess I wouldn't have watched it as a movie only because it is tragedy, and as soon as I see that tag it is a hard pass, but I thinks all the toxic fans need to watch this.
I’m a big anime fan, but I’ll never get these super popular series all about depression and loss. Life is incredibly depressing as it is. Why watch something that just compounds it…? I really don’t understand.
Spoilers . . . . . . . . I'm glad Aqua relieved their secret that they are Ai's kids, but why is Ruby so angry at him. Also, why haven't Aqua and Ruby told each other who they were in their past lives. I'm pretty sure that problem would've been solved if they'd tell each other who they used to be when they were babies
Replying to spoilers (so technically also spoilers) . . . . . . . . I think the reason Ruby is so mad is because it was a secret that Ai herself wanted to keep. In a way, it seems almost like Aqua is betraying her (in Ruby's eyes). To Aqua, he's allowed himself to move on from Ai in a way. He put Kana's safety above his adoration for Ai and her secret, while Ruby is still trapped by her love for Ai. Aqua is still locked into his goal of killing their father, of course, but now he has other priorities to add into the equation. Ruby, on the other hand, has tried to live her new life THROUGH Ai's idol career and in a sense, continue Ai's legacy. Revealing the secret shatters the legacy and "ruins" Ai's reputation to the public as a liar. I think the reason they haven't told each other yet is that it's not really important for them anymore. When they first started asking about each other as babies, it was obvious to Aqua that Ruby wasn't comfortable talking about it. Aqua being a grown adult in the past life (and a doctor) he most likely understands and respects not prying into personal affairs. As for Ruby, she kinda just assumed Aqua was some gross otaku so I doubt that really makes her want to know more about his past life. And of course, now the two of them are living full lives as "Aqua" and "Ruby" so the lives of "Gorou" and "Sarina" become less and less relevant as time passes.
@@homurizu another reply anpther spoiler well i think that revealing their identity might hav been part of his plan to lure out their father (i mean he know who he is but how is he going to exact his revenge if not by luring him into an unfavorable position first) or to serve him in another way later i mean he wants him to suffer so revealing all the shitty things his father did would hurt his image and maybe him too so who knows also i really wanna know what was on the second dvd because he says he knows ai‘s true wish and it might be connected with that to sum it up I NEED TO READ MORE WHY ISN‘T THE NEXT CHAPTER OUT YET. ALL OF THESE QUESTIONS NEED ANSWERS. and yes im sorry for the mangaka that has to sell his soul to make my wish come true
@@cosmical67 ME TOO. AKA AKASAKA HAS HAD MY SOUL FOR SEVERAL YEARS (bless kaguya-sama) AND I NEED ANSWERS NOWWWWW (but also i hope he and the artist both get rest and not overwork themselves)
For point 2, Ruby and Aqua understand that revealing who they were in their past life, regardless whether they knew if the other was Goro/Sarina, would create a very very toxic sibling relationship, especially early on. The older one (Goro) would ALWAYS have power over the younger, and considering that Ruby is Sarina, she would idolize him at an unhealthy degree. Now that they are older and are able to stand on their own, they might reveal who they are when the time comes, but before then it would have been very inadvisable to do so.
spoilers for anime only you have been warned the most intresting part in my opinion is that the children were soulless and had they not been reincarnated into the childrens body it might have hurt ai this is from the charters right before ruby finds the corpse where the god/child talks to her
Yes I was a victim, it was a bait. I was expecting a good anime with a spin, with a plotwist and what I got was... that peace of, uh, you know. It's mid as fuck. But I will watch more of it just to know what will happen.
I hate this anime ngl its show the exact reason i hate Asians idols. Yeah their song is quite good but when it comes to personality thaht they showed is just faked. you can watch one game show with them in it and know how fake it is they don't even try to hdie it. I do think AI love toward her children is invalid because even thought they are her child they are also someone else with real life connections in this world I doubt they just threw them away just like that. i don't know how i would felt bt Ai hide her personallity until near her death so I guess she have her problems, and for her to open up just a lil bit is amazing and if that was me i don't to open up to a person thhat I think I know but really not.

one word explains the first episode
banger
this anime destroyed me from the inside with AIs death. am ı too young for this sht ı dont understand why no other anime was able to give this thrill...
I started watching this last night and in the middle I realized that this episode lasts 80 minutes instead of 20.
Gonna finish the last 30 minutes tonight
Lol didn’t even notice the length? 😂
But yeah it’s basically 4 episodes worth of a standard length episode
Bro was in for a world of hurt when he watched and finished that 30 minutes 😭 I pray you are doing fine right now. I know for me, I wasn’t.
I cant be the only one who originally thought the director was the same guy who killed the mc
FMA brotherhood toxic fan base is attacking Osho no ko by degrading the site ranking.
Please join the Fullmetal RAID and help us destroying the FMA cartel ok my anime list
man just stop the hate just support oshi no ko be better than them
the FMA brotherhood fan base is undefeated in review bombing it’s funny cause Kaguya sama, another anime of the same author as oshi no ko hit first and they review bombed it too
Cringe weebs
It still has 9.25 Rating for now
@@haosru says jinnie in the comment section of a video that only weebs would ever get recommended
if your into selfburns than please go somewhere else
honestly, gave me emotional damage
How did you know i was a victim.
As much I hate to dethrone my #1 fav manga for thisThis manga managed to do it. It became my new all-time favorite manga.
But trust me if they try to pull some "POWER OF FRIENDSHIP good for the sake of good yay funnn" kinda stuff and the Father is not dead by
the end of the series, it's falling down to #2. I do not care, I will not be satisfied unless the Father is dead by the end of the series, as a manga reader
i have even more reason to hate that piece of crap and while all humans have the right to live, that man is an exception to that.
The trauma made me accidentally read 116 chapters in one day. This is no joke guys
Love the title you used for this video 😂
But for real 😭 💔
Oshi no Ko was the first anime to actually break me. I still get creeps from just thinking about THAT scene and guess what? RUclips doesn't give a shit 😭
Literally 😭 it's like RUclips got beef with me or sum
I dont know why but i have seen somewhere that aqua will publish the truth about them being their children to save their teacher though i dont even know if my brain just dreamed off it or smth
Fun fact & POTENTIAL SPOILERS:
Those black and white stars in the eyes have a meaning. Recommend search it up on youtube :]
Was already a victim the moment I started reading the manga
i am... a victum, sup everyone
"Wake up to reality, nothing ever goes as planned" -Dub Madara to Obito
im just gonna wait for the episodes to release cuz i dont wanna get spoiled about the anime i do read manga i just dont want spoilers
Nahhhhh, I suffered when I finished chapter 25-115 in 5 days
light yagami if he was obsessive
i had to kick myself over and over not to skip to the manga and binje the entire manga
Save me someone being victim of a bear will be less painful than of oshi no ko
I can’t wait for the English Dub I Ai is voiced by Jad Saxton
The only thing i dislike is cutting out the parts from the future
Not to play devil’s advocate but sao episode 1 was great too. Right before it tanked 😢
Uncomfortable for them at times yes- but it's clear they still loved her as a mother.
i was such a victim, read tall he manga in 1 day in a half
Smae same
Lets see the rise of the Light yagami of the new generation. Lets go Aqua
oshi no ko ep 1 accidentally created the biggest hole in my heart, when they killed ai i unplugged my computer and it took me tree days to finish the episode because i got so emotionally attached to her during the movie🥲
random manga fact of the day:
Ai thinks Ruby acts like an otaku sometimes
i fucking cried
Wtf why are you saying their children werent real. She gave birth to those twins no matter who they were in their past life they have a new life now thanks to Ai and they were as loved as much as they could by her.
They are her kids
I am a victim of episode 1
They did love Ai as a mother tho, if i am not wrong (talking about Aqua and Ruby)
this isnt a first episode its more like a first movie
I feel that calling it 1st episode is disrespectful, this was in all aspects a movie, that run over our MC's and at the end hit us like a train. I guess I wouldn't have watched it as a movie only because it is tragedy, and as soon as I see that tag it is a hard pass, but I thinks all the toxic fans need to watch this.
I’m a big anime fan, but I’ll never get these super popular series all about depression and loss. Life is incredibly depressing as it is. Why watch something that just compounds it…?
I really don’t understand.
Well it’s kinda hard to explain if you’re someone that can’t understand the appeal lol
I get it to an extent but 🤷🏻♀️
the thing is it builds alot of emotion and then it just burst that emotion people love that
WHERE CAN I WATCH IT
i want the prologue to be at least episodes until we get to the story, just like Arcane...
Still warm
I genuinely dont see why this is so hyped. Like ya it was wholesome, everything that WASNT wholesome about it is just stupid.

@@homurizu another reply anpther spoiler
well i think that revealing their identity might hav been part of his plan to lure out their father (i mean he know who he is but how is he going to exact his revenge if not by luring him into an unfavorable position first) or to serve him in another way later i mean he wants him to suffer so revealing all the shitty things his father did would hurt his image and maybe him too so who knows
also i really wanna know what was on the second dvd because he says he knows ai‘s true wish and it might be connected with that
to sum it up I NEED TO READ MORE WHY ISN‘T THE NEXT CHAPTER OUT YET. ALL OF THESE QUESTIONS NEED ANSWERS.
and yes im sorry for the mangaka that has to sell his soul to make my wish come true
@@cosmical67 True lol I can't wait for the next chapter. I believe that it's coming out at the same time the 2nd episode of the anime is coming out
@@cosmical67 ME TOO.
I disagree that the anime 'tanks' after this. but thats just my opinion vs yours :P
spoilers for anime only
you have been warned
the most intresting part in my opinion is that the children were soulless and had they not been reincarnated into the childrens body it might have hurt ai
this is from the charters right before ruby finds the corpse where the god/child talks to her
Im here cuz it didnt got me at all
Not even a single tear

Yes I was a victim, it was a bait. I was expecting a good anime with a spin, with a plotwist and what I got was... that peace of, uh, you know. It's mid as fuck. But I will watch more of it just to know what will happen.
🔪 :(
wtf is this anime tho
imagine having kids despite being a professional idol
kind of a stupid move to think it was even possible to manage in the first place ngl
Not a fan of the eye 👁️ art of this anime
Disproven.
Yeah Ikr I already caught up to the manga and looking forward for the next episode to come up and watch people's reactions to it
