I imagine Sr Gonzales has other, more 'serious' tunes on youtube but this one seems to have really struck a 'chord' in people/ It says much about how good Ms Kanno's composition is. I am a melody freak and this one has got 'it'

Not gonna lie, the first three seconds REALLY threw me off. Sounded so basic and uninteresting, and given how many mediocre covers are out there, I almost closed the video. But I'm so glad I didn't. This cover is one of my favorites. Excellent way to take an already beautiful song and add your own style to it.
