  • I've been trying to figure out the best pressure washer mounting system for my new home garage shop set up. I really love the way a wall mounted pressure washer looks, but I don't think a wall mount would be the right solution for my needs. I want my pressure washer and my Spot Free water system to be able to move with me! So, I think i found the Ultimate solution for the pressure washer detailing cart of my dreams. This could be a great option for those of you who like a fixed mounting solution but also need it to be movable. Or if you are renting your home and don't to mount it on a wall when you may have to move at some point... ENJOY!!!

I like the more affordable and practical DI water concepts that you have come up with. Not everyone can afford OG spec detailing equipment. Maybe you should try to sell these DI carts without the pressure washer. Dang! You have alot of short surfboards. I retired my 6'2" thrusters many years ago. I'd have to use a log now.

I bought the small welding cart from HF and use it for all of my Chemicals, and microfiber towels, and the side hooks I use for my ego dryer, some wheel and tire brushes and my DeWalt cordless water sprayer (I won’t call it a high pressure washer, since it only goes up to around 600psi) that I use for final rinse. I fill a chemical/weed killer back pack unit with DI or purified water and store it on the little bottom ledge, and it holds approx 4.5 gallons. Hook up the DeWalt and the very final rinse, I use this as I could leave it and not even dry the car without water spots (like I do often with my truck) or if it is my baby (911) I will then use my ego to dry and followed by a quick whip down with a drying aide. I still have my pressure washer and reels in my garage, mounted to my wall. No need to change that as I have plenty of Uber flex hose.

Nice setup. I made myself a cart to roll all of my wash gear to the driveway also, but made it so the DI tanks and PW stay in the garage. I plan to make a sound-isolating box for the PW soon.
With mine I bought some cheap plastic drawer sets from target and built a cart around them with shelves for products and mounted a retractable hose reel on the side. The drawers hold all of my towels and cleaning tools.
Rolling everything out to the driveway really speeds up the wash process versus running back and forth to the garage.

    • @imjoshv

Personnaly I would remove the bottom door on the left and mount the Active 2.0 in there. Drill some holes in the back for proper air circulation and mount some bottle separator on top to have all the products handy but in separators so they don't fall over.
Bonus, most of the weight would be on the big rubber wheels so you get less of that "stuck on tie-wrap" effect.

Why did you choose the dual stage di rather then the adam’s or on the go 1 tank solution that you have? Doesn’t the single tank yield more gallons of di then the dual stage system? I could’ve sworn I remember seeing in your comparison video of all the different types of DI that the Adams branded or the on the go one tank solution yielded the most bang for your buck for the resin and gallons per use so I’m curious why you chose the two-stage method for this cart?
