Kayla, I have to say great money spent on your setup! The OG OG Spec Mosmatic Swiveling Sprayer is freaking epic. I got the Ultimate portable Active package two years ago and it was a fantastic user experience.
Great choice as well! I was going to get the Active 2.0 originally but decided to make the ultimate investment and go with the new rod the best. It’s made my life so much easier! Wish I had it sooner
I was going to buy the Active 2.0 but for another $500 it was worth it for me to get the best of the best that’ll last me well over the 200 hour lifetime of the Active.
Set up looks amazing 👍. Is the grey hose getting dirty from outside use? I’m on the fence of grey for looks vs blue ease of use and wipe ease of cleaning g?
1 good tip: unwind that electric cord when you've got it plugged in if you don't want the chance to burn your house down. If you don't know why, Google a few induction welding videos and it'll be clear.
There is some truth to what @Euroburger stated. If you’re running your pressure washer with your cord wound up and it starts to get hot you could have a problem however, if your cord being wound up stays cool, you should be all right.
I just ordered mine, and i'm coming from the Ryobi 1800 😂 The next upgrade will be to build my own DI water system before next spring. Once i have that done, my pressure washijg setup will be complete.
Hi - You used lag screws to screw through the plywood and into the studs. What screws did you use to mount the Cox reel into the plywood? What size are the screws and if they didn't go into the studs, how are they on securely? Thanks
Is there any issue with the pressure washer vibrating or moving on the self at all during use? Last thing we would want is for the Pw to take a nose dive at that cost of it. Lol
She’s running deionized water so that does make the sun less of a factor. Just make sure you run cool water over your car before you wash it. Good observation though!👍
That looks "reely" cool! 😊 You were originally right. It's called Teflon tape. Plumber's tape is actually metal pipe strap. I have no idea why it's called plumber's tape but that's what it's called. 🤷

Ridiculous tbh. If your breaker doesn’t trip before the conductor gets hot to the point of it burning then there is a bigger problem

We have too much sun here in AZ sometimes I don’t have a choice! 6am car washes it is for me!

Why not install the cox reel into one of the studs?
My studs are not close enough together for it. Easier to just use the same piece of Plywood from the shelf to cox reel
