It's a tactic often employed by psychopaths to gain trust from others by masquerading as a 'nice' person, cos they seem to care about things which don't personally affect them. In general, I haven't been able to find a right leaning person that can properly define what woke means. They usually give a long winded explanation that can be summed up with "They're doing things I don't like or agree with".

Woke is not "a coded term to make fun of black people." It may be used in that way by conservatives now, but they don't own that word and don't get to define its meaning. Since at least the early 90s when I first heard the term, to be woke meant that you were aware of the invisible structural and institutional barriers faced by black people and committed to opposing them wherever they are found. It wasn't something you ever heard outside of very specific social justice oriented communities, which is why it's been so relatively easy for conservatives to redefine it in the popular consciousness. The word as I have defined it is literally older than all the hosts of this program, it was in use in those circles long before I learned about it, and I'm old enough to be their dad.

The term has been around since the 1920’s. Songwriter Lead Belly in his song Scottsboro boys first used the phrase “stay woke”.
I think it was John Iadarola (Damage Report) who said of Marjorie Taylor Greene, “The bar is so low she can’t help but trip across it.” This goes for Chaya Raichik too.

I would dare to say that AlQueda is woke. They are very aware of how America’s quest for global dominance has hurt their people, who have a darker skin tone, worship a ‘different’ religion and live in a part of the world the US sees as exploitable. Yeh, Al Queda is definitely woke.

Reminds me of the sweet old lady showing me great replacement theory with stick figures and not realizing it’s based on racism and not immigration. True story: When I go to Crossfit, the people there are really conservative, many are overt maga. I find that this is true in most gym environments. But I'm just there to work out and I don't engage in anything but chitchat. I was telling this guy about my recent problems with Lufthansa in Germany, when they went on strike. The first words out of his mouth were, "See, everything has to be so D.E.I..and" - I knew changing this idiot's mind would be impossible so I just said, "Dude, this is Lufthansa, 95% of the people who are screwing me over Lufthansa corp are white." I had a discussion with a couple of friends that kind of spontaneously started railing against all the "wokeness" in the media. I just asked them what that is. They described instances of what they saw as that, but I kept asking them "No like how can I tell? What is it?" They didn't know. They aren't stupid like Ms. Raichik, but they are just as unable to quantify the concept. A lot of "theys" doing things in their description too. "They want us to..." "They are making us..." I also asked who "they" are and not a lot more information there either. I can come up with a definition for what I think they mean off the top of my head that is more coherent than their own ideology...
I guess it’s hard to define something that doesn’t exist.

I think that she struggles with saying what woke really means is because it reveals who she really is.

I live in the district that made Lauren Boebert famous and I am finding that the more I speak out about things like the Gaza Genocide, the more isolated I become. I try to make a difference in the world, but I feel like I am only just getting people to hate me. I don't know if I can go on.
When I reach out to people that say that they are fighting for the same things I am, I find no solidarity.

"Wokeness" is just the latest term they created for Cultural Marxism, and Cultural Bolchevism before it. Its quite literally the same definitions that the people accused the frankfurt school back then on the decline of western influence, and how pop culture was being twisted by marxist thought in the realms of music for example.
All of the have just been tools made up by nazis to distract workers from the issues that actually affect them like, you know, how capitalism is putting its boot on their neck. And it also has historically softened people to far right ideology.
I remember debating people like 15 years ago who actually still brought up the idea of cultural marxism, and I see all these people nowadays screaming "woke", coincidence? I dont think so. They just found a term people nowadays are more comfortable using.

Words is hard.
Woke means to be aware of racial injustice, prejudice, discrimination and their history. It means to understand how that history has affected American society today and how to mitigate their impact and either minimize it or end the practice of both. What right-wingers call "normal" is that racial injustice, prejudice and discrimination should just be accepted as part of America.
