Dana Meyers, Will Shelby and Steve Shockley all are from my hometown of Dayton, Ohio. They were writers on some of the biggest Solar hits. Those guys and a few others from Dayton, and of course Midnight Star & The Deele, were really important for Solar's success. I am proud of Dana's achievements!

In my opinion…. I thought of SOLAR as the “ Motown Of The Eighties “because of the artists, songwriting, and the production style! They were so infectious During the early to mid eighties! Another great interview Scott thank you 🙏 ❤!

Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis were both songwriters and producers for SOLAR in the early days, and they stole Steve Hodge for their sound ( engineering/studio)!!!!
