I got one brand new. With the 3.2 V6. Love this thing and perfect now that I live where it really snows in the winter. Nice.

Keep an eye on your oil filter/cooling housing on top of the engine. Ours' grenaded at about 70,000 miles. It's made of plastic and cracked after an extreme amount of cold weather. We lost 5 quarts of oil going down the road before the check engine light came on. We just picked up a new 2023 Cherokee Trailhawk with the 2.0 turbo. It has a conventional spin on oil filter--no plastic housing to worry about. For a time we had a new 2023 Grand Cherokee L Limited trim. However, we couldn't stand the new Uconnect5 system. It was one big PITA and I would advise everyone to avoid it.

@@AStanton1966 Thank you for that input. Living at 6700' now (a year before I got the new Jeep) things are different apparently. We still go down to Burbank CA for servicing from our excellent people of 25 years, and was going to drop my Trailhawk off next time to check this out. I'll let you all know how it turns out.
New 2023, eh? Nice. Only problem with my 2020 is that I DON'T NEED a new one.

@@boblozaintherealworld3577 No more Trailhawk Cherokee's after this year! I couldn't believe that the oil housing cracking is a known issue--in fact the owner of my local Jeep dealer admitted it to me. An aftermarket company named Dorman makes a metal one!

Nice video. Can you confirm the automatic stop/stop function can be disabled? I have seen someone said the function cannot be disabled in his 2019 Cherokee

While you cannot disable the feature permanently, you can turn it off each time you start the vehicle and it will stay off during the duration the vehicle is running. However, if you shut the vehicle off, and then start it again, you will have to disable the feature. Thanks for watching!

There's a hack to disable it. There's a plug on the negative post of the battery that reads voltage. If you disconnect that plug, you will disable the start/stop. However, an idiot light will appear on the dash telling you that it's inoperable. You can get around that idiot light by just putting a little piece of electrical tape on the screen to cover up the light.
