wiggle the comb, and sometimes for small wells, let it go and pull again. this will stop the bottom of the well from tearing. More important for smaller % agarose gels.

How did the agarose gel solidify? It was in powdered form and was mixed with buffer. Then it was heated at 130 degree centigrade.
11yr later this is helping me in class 12 biotech chapter also it helped me to develop more interest
