- They are among the most legendary female voices on the planet. They are goddesses, they manage to captivate the audience just with a note of theirs. They are no other than The Voice Whitney Houston, The Powerhouse Celine Dion and the Songbird Mariah Carey!! In this video we will compare their best belts on the C5-G5 area!! I know I may have not used your favourite note examples, I didn't want to use the most overused ones, but these are just as good!!
Remember guys, this is not a battle, just a comparison for entertainment purposes!! All three of them are so perfect that everyone can just pick his personal favourite, without talking badly about the other two!

They are certainly legendary, and for many good reasons, but let's not bring down younger singers. Samara Joy, Gabby Samone, Jai'len Josey, Faouzia, Morissette Amon, etc. are comparable to them, and some of them even surpassed the Trinity in certain areas.

Mariah is the one who was special, as she had what the two others had and beyond both vocally and musically.
Whitney has the best tone and timbre and the best and most powerful mid-tones. Celine has the best sustain on the high notes. And Mariah has the best musicality, agility and sophistication. All three seem to me to be excellent singers, however I think Mariah set the bar very high with the dynamism of her voice, her high notes with many complicated glissandos. And excellent low notes. Technically and musically I think Mariah was more prodigious, although interpretatively Whitney and Celine gave better performances.
Each one has his own opinion, comparison between three such great singers basically becomes a matter of taste when all of them are so good, thank you for watching!! ☺️

I was introduced to music through Celine Dion then Mariah then Whitney. Mariah became my favourite cause she writes her music and her tone hasalways felt like a warm and cozy embrace. But all 3 of them are/ were talented beyond words. They represent excellence in their very own way. Contrary to popular belief, they don't sound the same, they all have distinct runs, styles and strengths. For me, no one can ever top the trinity even though there's many other amazing vocalists out there. I have nothing but love for those 3 uniquely gifted women.

@@AndreRodrigues-qd6cu they don't have better agility than Whitney in chest voice at all. Whitney just didn't overdo it with chest voice runs as much as Celine and Mariah did it. And many of their chest voice runs (Mariah's and Celine's) were often inaccurate and not every note of the run was perfeclty clear. On the contrary, all Whitney's runs are perfectly produced. Both in chest and head voice. And we all know that agility in chest voice is much more difficult than agility in head voice-mixed voice.

I love how even on identical notes, each of them sounds powerful, yet distinct from one another. All three have something very special.
Vocally my favorite is Whitney - Nobody has combined sweet and smooth with power and depth better than her. Her voice was truly exeptional in quality and clarity. In term of musicianship, Mariah wins - She has written so many iconic tracks, people really don't appreciated just what a competent songwriter she really is....AND she has that insane level of range and agility that few other humans can match. Celine sits somewhere in between the two, vocally speaking. All three are legends!

I love these three ladies, and I'm happy for all they've achieved, but I only like Mariah's music. I don't care about who has better tecnique or whatever, Mariah's voice is my personal favorite sound, and the way she uses it for me is magical. When adding songwriting and producing to the singing like a angel, it's just something I don't think another person could ever come close.

celine's C5 wins at 0:26. I would prefer another C5 from Whitney, this is not as impressive as many other C5 notes from her. Mariah's C5 is truly one of her best if not her best live C5. Whitney's G5 wins everyone. And I don't know if it's a G5 though or F#5. Cause if it's a G5, this means she raised saving all my love for you song TWO semitones which is very unlikely, she raised it one semitone in some cases like 1985 letterman but never two semitones

Celine and Whitney definitely belts better, plus Celine has the best head voice, her middle voice is quite masterful too. Although the two doesn't have whistle, they outshine Mariah in the other registers which is why they stand a chance against Mariah. I simply think people overexaggerate Mariah's whistle in contrast to Celine and Whitney's singing capabilities.

Well yeah Celine and Whitney vocal types are best for belting. Mariah not so much but her vocal type allows for those whistle notes. They each have their strengths. Personally, while I love Whitney’s full rounded belting, my favorite is Celine’s powerful, piercing, sustained belting. It hits my soul like lightning

@@mariahcareydaydreamera2526 Whitney's G5 is an F#5 and its not tensed its natural tension,the other tension is obstructive tension which is the bad tension..Name what obstructive tension did Whitney have there?its just chestier and fuller,with that kind if density and volume.She managed to do that so sure call her effortless heavy approach as tensed compared to neutral and curbed approach.

I tried not to use the single most used clip for each note of theirs, but still use popular clips, that's why I didn't use for example the C5s from It's All Coming Back to me now, or the Imagine D5, or the All By Myself Eb5, or the Love Can move mountains F5s from Celine, the America the beautiful C5, the underneath the stars D5, the if it's over E5 and F#5s for Mariah, or the All at once C5, the D5s where she yells "Love", the sustained E5s that I don't remember which song they are from, or the you give good love F#5 for Whitney!!
I still used very popular clips though, I chose my favourite note of every one and used it!!

These three are definitely vocal legends! They each had their strengths and weaknesses and each had skills that the other didn't, nobody can compete with the vocal trinity! Whitney was the best belter and had the most developed head voice, Celine had the best resonance, and Mariah had the biggest overall range and best agility. Queens!

This is great vocal video. You didn't use no lip sync note by Celine or Mariah. Whitney rarely lipped, so yeah. I also would've used Mariah's F5's from SNL & Grammy's 92 tho.

Also the F5, you used why not look for lesser known held F5, she has a throve of F5s that her held with vibrato. Look for London Oct 17 1986 concert... where she sings You give good love. on the word NEVER , SHE HOLDS A HUGE CHEST m1 coordinated sustained F5..That is the one of the biggest F5 I have heard anyone hit...loud, resonant, sustained and with vibrato...... Also the C5s, common there are better ones, also the C#5s why the same greatest love of all C#5, the Madison square garden one or something different like the My man C#5 from the 1991 billboard awards or the aids benefit C#5 on the song DONT CRY FOR ME...thE ONES YOU HAVE USED ARE THE MOST RECYCLED EVER. Or even the C#5 of greatest love of all from cinematic awards where she is honouring Clive Davis..
