    In this video we will show you how to effectively strengthen the shoulder rotator cuff muscles using a theraband, as well as increasing the stabilisation of the shoulder joint. These exercises are great for exercise rehabilitation with rotator cuff injuries, impingement and after shoulder reconstruction surgery.

    I really like this video. People don't realize that the scapula blade in your back must me in a proper stabilizing position to strengthen the shoulder blade muscles before performing this and any upper body exercise. I learned the hard way

    +I like the short, controlled movement. I've ruined some patients' shoulders and more recently my own shoulder with over-doing the bands.

      dude, what do you mean when you say you've "ruined" some patients' shoulders? aren't you supposed to quite the opposite? quite the revelation on a public forum like RUclips. I would hope you don't ruin anymore shoulders, let alone any other body parts of your patients.

    Good exercises demo thank you. Heavy bench press can injure and impinge shoulders, but not press overhead. Pressing OH with good technique is the best/useful exercise for shoulders and it's impossible to impinge.

    Great video. Could you also make a video on best shoulder pre-workout warm up, for preventing injury. I am doing almost similar exercises but with 2kg dumbbells, or 1.5 kg plates, is it OK to do that?

    • @hany259
      @hany259 7 лет назад

      Might be a bit too heavy during a warm up. Weight will put stress on the muscle, you want to use resistance to focus on the joint. Highest I would go when warming up with dumbbells would be 2.5lbs otherwise use resistance bands.

    Great helpful video thanks! My right shoulder click constantly! especially at the lowest part of the shoulder press. and inside the joint gets achy when doing press ups. Is there anything specifically i would benefit from? I.e a particular exercise to focus on? Im relatively strong but not sure about the inside of my shoulder? Strange though because my left shoulder is pretty fine with no problems

    Almost everyone can benefit from rotator cuff exercises. Especially the sedentary who...well ...do almost nothing with their body. That way you prevent injury when you do exercise or use your arm in an unexpected way, too forcefully.
