- I sometimes forget that if I use YL's dair at the right angle, it turns into a flaming Meteor Smash. I'm sad Toon Link in Brawl didn't get the EXACT same treatment, but then again he's supposed to be much different from Young Link, anyway.
I should've finished Giga Bowser in a more flashier way than just dair, dair, dair, dair, dair, etc.

UPDATE 6/13/18: HOO-HOO! It looks like this version of "Child Link" won't be forgotten again. Go get a Switch.

what memories this brings back this is a game where we didn't need internet to be fun
Man, the Young Link timeline was always my favorite timeline in the Zelda series, and knowing that Young Link made it to SSBM makes me want to play it again!

Just in case they decide to bring Young Link back, here are some things I imagine for changes:
1: Instead of a bow, the slingshot
2: His final smash could be transforming into Fierce Diety Link (Included with the classic adult Link voice!)

Young Link's my secondary, behind Ness.
riotrandy678, I always thought Young Link should be based strictly on Majora's Mask. His Neutral Special would be the Song of Healing, where he would recover helth if you hold Special long enough. His Side Special would be the Goron Mask, where he rolled in that direction. His Up Special would be the Deku Mask, where he would sprout out of a flower, then glide for a couple of seconds. His Down Special would be the Zora Mask, where he would dive into the ground the longer you hold Special (and coming back if you hold it long enough). I'd also agree that his Final Smash would be the Fierce Deity Mask.
Congrats. You guessed right.

ive heard kirby is horrible in this game,Pikachu this game is good but I dont know if he will be better than Brawl's YL is just since I am Toon Link main I would like to see how the first "child link" was.

If you look at Young Link and expect him to be much different than Link, you're going to be disappointing. That's what I kind of like about him, he's VERY similar but his speed, Fire Arrows, and his oh-so spammy Spin Attack. (Very similar to Toon Link's.) I like both Toon Link, and Young Link.
I named my Amiibo "Dumb Link". The Reactions around my house were crazy..

Impressive job! I couldn't do Adventure on hard mode as Young Link. I could do it as Roy, but even that took several attempts.
Young Link is splendid job from SSBM.

Well It looks like Melee is a cool game and I havent tried it out but the cracters that will make the game my fav/least fav are Kirby,Pikachu and Young link if I dont like how the play(speacialy Kirby and Pikachu since their my favs)then it might end up of my least fav list ;( but if their good the it might become my fav :)

Kirby is just... terrible in this game, Pikachu is decent (But I prefer Brawl Pikachu.) Young Link is fun to play, just don't try Captain Falcon, you will become addicted to him.

Yeah, Melee is a great game indeed. But Pit and Ike alone make me prefer Brawl.
Wave dashing is like the moon walk I can only take 4 strides and then it get sloppy. Good job
is he from oot or mm because he has the hookshot and bow but he has the deku shield
***** Young Link isn't supposed to be able to use the hookshot, that was one of the perks you got in Oot by becoming an adult.

To fight him you have to play on hard or very hard.

this is defo in easy mode or normal, no way the AI is that stupid and slow
Melee's AI was pretty bad, even in higher difficulties.
