- Link was a bit harder to use for this than Young Link. He's older and stronger, but also slower than he is as a kid.
I've always hated the Pokémon part of the Adventure Mode. They don't die as easy as the Yoshi and Kirby swarms.
Like Pikachu, I've beaten this on my first try.
this was the best link!! you could feel how powerful his sword swings were..unlike the later games it feels like im barely hurting anyone when i swing the sword
Why is the hylian shield purple?
Yes for real. I hate Link in Smash Ultimate. He's not worth a crap. Young Link on the other hand is super good in both Melee and Ultimate.
@@unknownguy8687 for some reason that's just how the shield looks in the game. It looks like that in my copy too. Rather strange. But ironically I've always liked it like that despite I don't like purple.

I'd argue my favorite being Smash 4 Link since he had both the Gale Boomerang as well as the Jump Slash dash attack.
@Thedarksenshi Hmm. That's an interesting statement. I'll have to try him out again in Smash 4. I also say it's interesting cause often times Smash 4 is everyone's least favorite Smash game including mine. Granted though I've only played Smash for 3ds. I haven't played the Wii U variant cause I don't own a Wii U.

Man Link was so much funner in melee, I don't understand why they made him slower and as well taken his "A" rapid attack.

Donavan★ Nintendo doesn't know how to make characters properly. Whoever made project m knows how to make characters and whoever made the broken melee characters knows how to make characters than Nintendo.
I'm betting SSBU Link wouldn't be buff enough just enough to keep him from being the best.
But his voice in Brawl is better.
Jeffrey Gao Personally I much prefer the voice Link has in both Ocarina of Time and Melee, since the actor (Nobuyuki Hiyama) is also the voice of a few other characters that I know and respect: Joe Higashi (Fatal Fury & KOF), Demitri Maximoff (Darkstalkers), and Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho).

For me the hardest part was always the Pokemon level as well as the ness level. Your doing really good. You have no minuses and I've never done adventure mode on hard. I've always done it on normal and I struggle with that. Literally just earlier I was playing as Jigglypuff and lost 5 stocks 3 times. I think it's a mix between I suck with Jigglypuff and my controller is kinda wack.
Little advice for anyone who still plays this beautiful game: Link's most powerful combo is capturing with "z" and B+up. You're welcome

This game mode and link being my favorite player is the reason I decided to try ocarina of time when I was a kid (I sucked) but lately I been playing and I love it what great games does Nintendo make
and another thing, i never ever thought of the motion sensor bomb to use with link's bomb, which would actually cause an explosion.
Link is my favorite character I like him more than everybody else in smash.

Not too long ago, I actually tried beating Adventure Mode on Normal just to try and get to fight Giga Bowser using Link (until then, I never made it past Easy). Man, it was a bit of a hassle, especially the Pokémon and Onett stages, but I'm glad I was able to get to Giga Bowser with one life left. Sadly, I got a Game Over on him, but I was glad that I had a second chance against him with all 5 lives restored. Beat him with 2 lives remaining (he was a tough monster to say the least)!

try finding a Book and Music Exchange shop. They often have original gamecube controllers and if you''re lucky you'll find this game
As someone who hasn't played this game in years, I hated he skipped de the cutscenes.
Carls493 you got some skills, Link is good most of the time but I feel your pain when you're on stage 7 Pokemon Stadium it stinks. When it comes to the Pikachu's, Pichu's, and Jiggglypuff especially the Pikachu's they're so SAVAGE. At least you fought through Adventure mode but try doing Adventure mode on Very Hard with only one stock😇😀
