I must be one of the only Man Utd fans who would like the stadium to be completely rebuilt....same name same location just a rebuild to give us the stadium we deserve. During lockdown I jog past Old Trafford 2-3 times a week doing my exercise, and i think that every time a pass, been feeling this way for quite a few years, hope it happens some day.
There is enough space in the area owned by MUFC to consider this, however due to the legacy Old Trafford has, I doubt this will happen. I would personally prefer a Camp Nou or Bernabeu type renovation of the stadium (see their recent construction videos). Best way to modernize the structure, the stands, and to create a complete bowl effect. Plus, now that we have the Engineering technology to build over the railway line, the only issue are the Glazers and money.
@@jaspalvirdee - I was talking about this with my mate who is also a red...and I agree 100% that there probably won’t be any major stadium work done whilst the Glazers are in charge. I just feel that we are beginning to get left behind, pretty much every major club in Europe is thinking of or have already completed renovation work to their stadium. What's wrong with old Trafford? You should go to some grounds in League 1 or League 2 to see what a real rundown stadium.The word spoilt comes to mind.

The Glazers should do what Everton, Madrid, and Barca are doing. They own a lot of land there, so they should build a facility (training, medical, etc.). They should also increase the capacity in the south stand. Taking off the roofs would be the first and brilliant step, since it's getting very rusty and old. They should be replaced by roofs which are being used by Barca, Qatar, or Real Madrid. To finalise it all, they should rip off the chairs and rebuild them to make fans more comfortable.

Need to do a Spurs and move the stadium across as there is plenty of land owned by the club and therefore immediately available then wouldn’t have to build over the railway line just the canal instead without the cost of purchasing all those houses and demolish them.Only one sticking point though and that’s the leeches who own the club so it will never happen while the leprechauns remain in charge.
Visited 2 years ago....it is an absolute dump and has become a disgrace.You can only paint over the cracks for soo long.Look at the new developments or totally new stadiums like Liverpool,Man City,Tottenham, shortly Everton,even West Ham's ex Olympic stadium etc,etc. No don't kid yourself Man Utd supporters,you ground is now very third rate,and when you look at how everybody has been squeezed in like sardines no wonder the Glazier family are happy.

I wish they made the south stand as big as the other 3, then the stadium will have 90,000 but still retain its historic look
