Guys support this remastered project, because that will tell if people are interested enough for them to consider sequel, just buy it, i agree it doesn't need remaster but if thats the only way then we muat do it and maybe they will invest in Days Gone 2, lets hope and do it
That’s why I’m concerned about this. Instead of making a sequel like we have asked for years, Sony is remastering it. Days Gone is one of my favorite games but it doesn’t need remastered. Now if people don’t support this cash grab, Sony will think we aren’t interested in the IP. Sony has no idea what they are doing.
I just got into Days Gone recently (on PC), I'm almost at the end of the story. And not for one second did I think it's outdated in any way, what do you even want to remaster here? It's perfectly fine. Couldn't even ask for better graphics.
I do t get kids moaning about it getting a remaster, it's a great thing. Firstly, being able to play this on the PS5 with updated graphics and fps will be great. Secondly, this may lead to a second game. Come on use your brains before having a social media cry
Don't see why it needs a remaster, just make a second game at that point lol. The game is fine as it is, looks fine plays fine etc. Just don't see why they would waste resources making a remaster of a perfectly fine game when it does not need one at all, make a second game that's what everyone of their fans want.
Put your brain into critical thinking mode. A second game won't come without this, Sony obviously didn't think the first game was successful enough for a second game. This may show them that a second game is needed.

I only want a PS5 remaster of Days Gone, because I want to get the Platinum trophy again. It's one of my favorite games, and one of my favorite platinum's.

I’ve fully completed days gone and got the platinum trophy for it and I think if this remaster goes right and really well we could even get dlcs for it or even a sequel for it so let’s hope this goes well and doesn’t get shit on my reviewers like what happened all the way in 2019
If you already own the PS4 version the upgrade will probably be 10 bucks. Show the game some love and buy it if for no other reason than to send the message that we want a sequel. Personally I'm looking forward to platinuming it again.
Remastered should come with basic modding utility. Modding is what extends the longevity of games decades past their initial couple of glory years. Days Gone already has quite an impressive modding scene comparatively speaking with regards to the total volume of other games out there.
When I first got days gone I was stuck in the cave and I couldn't do it so I decided to complete it again last year and I love days gone it's even better than the last of us part 2

Great game, no need to knock a remaster for adding Ray tracing or making it more fluid. This is not bad news. I embrace it depending on what they plan to monetize it, or if it will be part of a PS5 Pro library offering at launch of the new hardware. Sony is likely adding "runs better on PRO" tag to existing games.
Sony have gone insane instead of Remaking and Remastering PS1, PS2 or even PS3 they remaster PS4 are you kidding me even Launch PS4 tittles don't need any remaster and i will understand somewhat if you add a Huge DLC quality of life improvements and maybe even Cheats but just doing a AI up scaling of the graphics and changing the game ID for it to be recognized as PS5 game and calling it a Remaster is just pure Mockery

Nah, it was a BS rumor and unlike the HZD remaster it was nowhere to be seen at state of play or anywhere else. I'd pay 20 bucks if i got some GOT Director's Cut style updates and increased the likelihood of a sequel.
The game is fine it runs fine even on my ps4 slim. If they do anything I’d prefer them not to wast assets on something dumb like a remastered version of days gone. Especially with console getting up there in money $700 Sony is insane.
I sort of feel these remasters are not aimed at new players but rather a cheap way of milking hardcore fans who really love the game, getting a second bite of the apple as the saying goes. If you’re never played DG before then by all means get the remaster, its a great game. But personally I’m getting tired of buying the same games over and over again. Enough already

Maybe if the remastered version does well we'll get a big DLC or sequel. That game was *freaking* amazing.

Agreed, I finished playing it on pc earlier this year and it still looks top notch. Not sure why it needs it either
