I played in a simple town league.. I kinda went hot and got 10 straight threes without missing.. I was at one point trying to miss by shooting deep ones but they just went in.. Maybe lady luck was on my side that night..
It is rumored that Wilt once finished a game with 53 points, 32 rebounds, 14 assists, 24 blocks, and 11 steals. Not official because blocks and steals weren't recorded but that is what is reported.
I can get a double double with 45 point 12 assist 6 steal games in 5min quarters. Just gotta get that takeover early score consistently then get assists during the last half. Easy 2k vc
It was the best moment to see in the NBA from the past of how each famous nba players played with their stats such as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, Dennis Rodman etc.
I think that Harkeem being the most athletic 7 footer since Wilt was a major reason for players not to mess with the guy. He'd already be able to out move most players and get an open shot but also such feats would also work well in retaliation for a foul. He's definitely a guy not to foul.

I'm reminded of Sam Mitchell's hilarious post-game interview where he said: some of our guys have a stat line of 0-0-0, or something to that effect. Trying to find a clip of it.
I'm so interested to see the shooting chart of a game where one guy has 55 Rebounds and his direct opponent still gets 19^^ Did anybody make a shot at first try that night?
I find it amazing that the NBA leader in both steals and assists is also the most irrelevant name ever spoke about basketball that is John Stockton the most underrated point guard of all time he's number one on my all-time point guards list
I'm a Rodman fan. I would be curious to know how many shoots he actually took in those high rebound - zero point games. I know while he was in Detroit, he turned in many halves in which he never took a shoot. You could say he was a one dimensional player, but what he didn't add to the team effort with scoring, he sure made up for with lock down defense and rebounds.

all the stat lines from the 60s were crazy. The game didn't start to make sense until like the 70s or 80s.
I think wilt is the most freakish player, or even athlete ever, but I think people choose jordan as goat because wilt didn’t have as good handles or shooting, and because he wasnt a superstar, in an era which everyone considers a weak era
Do a video where it’s best teams if every player with the same jersey number played together. So team 3 would be like Anthony Davis, Bradley Beal, cp3, team 0 would be Westbrook, dame etc.
2:12 Wilt didn't bother with assists 'till a couple years later, during his first Championship year (7+ per game the entire season) and the year AFTER than when he went for the Assist Title AND GOT IT for that year (little over 8 assists per game - STILL the record for a Center and there have been a few POINT GUARDS that had less while leading the league). 25 rebounds was his AVERAGE for that year, rounded to the nearest whole number. The triple double including blocks - is possible, he had plenty of 10+ block games in the games we DO have video of for him. 2:46 Bill had a top at 53 Rebounds in one game - and STILL holds the PLAYOFF RECORD rebounds for a game and the one-half record for rebounds. Both Bill and Wilt were DOMINANT rebounders, only Nate Thurmond and a "peak years" Dennis Rodman could argue the point. But when it MATTERED, in the playoffs, BILL had the higher rebounding average (though Wilt was a very close second).
I think that Bill Russell and his team success is far more important that wilt and his dominance. So I rank Russell over Chamberlain in the top 10. You play basketball to win, and that’s exactly what Russell did.
Bill Russell didn't win all those championships. The Boston Celtics did. He was merely their best player and team leader, but he had a great team around him and a HOF coach. It wasn't Wilt's fault he had few good teammates and coaches who didn't know how to use his skills outside of the two years his team won the NBA title. (I suppose averaging 50 points per game and still not winning the championship is a lot like Michael Jordan scoring 63 in a playoff game and still losing the game. Great individual accomplishment on an otherwise lousy team.)
@@10Peter25 Wilt played with multiple hall of famers dude stop making up stories. Wilt is just both that good... But I agree Russell didn't win those rings by himself
10:10 The knock on Bill is that he "couldn't score". But when the game was on the line and IMPORTANT and he NEEDED to score - he definitely could. People forget he AVERAGED 15.1 for his career - and *16.2* in the playoffs. Perhaps not superstar shooter level, but there are a lot fewer NBA players that averaged that high then that did not (he's ballpark #300 on the regular season alltime PPG list, out of SEVERAL THOUSANDS of people that have played in the NBA - and #171 on the alltime PLAYOFFS PPG list out of a few thousands that played in the playoffs at least once) - and all this while being one of the 2 best rebounders (even after adjusting for pace) the NBA has ever seen and "a DEFENSIVE specialist". There are also only a few players that routinely RAISED THEIR GAME that much in the playoffs.
Andre Drummond January 20th 2016 2 for 4 from the field. 13 for 36 from the free throw line. 36 free throw attempts with just 4 field goal attempts is crazy. Missing 23 of the 36 free throw attempts is also crazy. I'm not sure which one of those two is crazier.
Yeah, like Bob Lanier, Willis Reed, Elvin Hayes, and Wes Unseld, who were better than any center in the NBA today except for Giannis. Then there was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, Nate Thurmond, and Artis Gilmore, who were better than even Giannis. All of them [except Unseld] were the same height or taller than Dwight Howard. LOL.

David Robinson's stat line:
