Musician extraordinaire, the late "Git-tar" Keith Allison sat with me for what turned out to be his final interview. We discuss his Texas roots with Mike Nesmith in College, his move to California that led to stardom on "Where The Action Is", his entree to The Monkees/ Boyce & Hart, co-writing the song "Auntie's Municipal Court" ,playing on their recording sessions, wrangling the Monkees to appear on the "Happening" TV show in 1969, and more.(Part One).
