@AJ G I can see your point as some people do ‘fangirl’ over things he does, but i’ve been here since late 2016. I personally really like the microphone he showed in the video, as I haven’t seen it before. You don’t need to try and seem better than someone just because they said they really liked something someone else had. I personally really don’t like it when people say stuff like that to me, and would prefer you don’t. Thank you, very sorry if anything I say offends you.

I just wanna say that I appreciate you so much and you’re a really big influence on me.
I’m a writer. I write songs, poems, stories, and even reports on real life situations. I was/am very nervous and scared about showcasing my work, or even telling people about it. Late 2015/early 2016 some very bad things happened to me and I was very depressed and upset, I stopped talking to most of my friends and rarely spoke in general. One of my very good friends told me that they miss my work, and that I might be inspired to write again if I listened to some of your music. They told me to listen to Devil Town, since I usually listened to rock/heavy music. After I did I fell down into a deep hole of your music, but still didn’t write.
I continued listening to your music here and there until 2018, when you released Lemon Boy. I fell in love with the whole album and picked up my guitar again. I started lines of songs and short monologues. I then found your RUclips channel and watching your videos made me very happy!! When you started to release Animal Kingdom, I started writing more then I used to. Then you released Boys Will Be Bugs which I felt like I could relate to (and I thought it was ironic since I turned 14 shortly before it was released) and realized that I wasn’t alone with everything and it was okay not to be okay.
Thank you for helping me with all the nasty stuff in my life and making me smile !! I’m now doing very good, and I’ve started writing my own book! I will be starting a true novel soon as well!! I really hope I can see you in June (if my mom will agree uwu) thank you and I love youu ! 💞🍋

His voice makes me feel so relaxed and welcome. I haven’t felt this in a long time. ;-; The youtubers I watch are mostly obnoxious, cheesy, and just LoUd- We need more people like Robin.
I started watching two or so of these videos a day and listening to Cavetown music while doing my online schooling and my mood has increased greatly since. I have been crying a lot less and I find myself singing songs around the house. Cavetown is the best form of therapy in my opinion.
