Been watching reviews of this stick for the past week, and you're the only one who mentioned and showed that the Xbox controller still works while plugged into the passthrough port. Thanks for that. Maybe it's an obvious detail to everyone else, but I wanted to know for sure. Might come in handy for some games.
Hello, thanks for the comment. I try to be comprehensive in my videos and think ‘what would I have wanted to know’. The pass through it’s actually pretty useful as sometimes it’s easier to navigate the menus of some games using the controller than the stick. But the stick is definitely the way to play fighting games. Although I’m better at MK11 with a controller but I think that might be as I played a lot of MK before I had the stick.
It is definitely a high quality product. I couldn’t believe how responsive the buttons are. Highly recommended for sure! One of my favourite purchases in recent memory.
Thanks for the video, really helped me out setting up my stick. I had a really hard time using it with my PC, I got the magic s pro 2 also from mayflash and fixed my controller problems there, now I can use my stick with my switch and pc very easily.
Hello, thanks for the comment. You’re welcome. Glad you enjoyed the video and found it useful! I really love this fight stick especially as it has great compatibility (after a bit of work of course).
Hello, thanks for the comment. To confirm this is plug and play for PC. It use it on PC regularly. It’s getting it working on consoles that needs some extra steps.
Hello, thanks for the comment! I would definitely recommend this. Especially with the new Street Fighter round the corner. Let me know how you get on if you order one.
I have this arcade stick and can i play on xbox consoles with Wingman xb2 adapter, no need aditional controllers plugued....... I can also use it on ps5 with the mayflahs ultimate adapter
Hello, thanks for the comment. You can definitely play on the PS5 with this stick using the Mayflash adaptor. Not sure about the Wingman adaptor but if you plug in any Xbox controller via usb to the fight-stick it will work on the Xbox consoles.
Hello, thanks for the comment. After using this extensively, I personally haven’t noticed any lag at all. However I am not a frame timing expert, but as an average player this pad is perfect for me.
Hello, thanks for the comment. The main difference is the manufacturer of the buttons and joystick. The 500 V2 has the standard buttons and joystick but the elite has Sanwa buttons and joystick. Many believe Sanwa are the best quality and performance parts you can get on fightsticks.
Does the smaller size make much of a difference to playability and comfort on the f300 elite compared to the f500 elite ? I’m trying to decide between the two.
Hello, thanks for the comment. I think honestly it depends on the size of your hands. I prefer a larger button set up. But if someone has smaller hands the f300 might be more comfortable. I would be interested to know what other people think though.

Hey man im going to locals in about a month and just picked this one up as a replacement for an old stick i had. The local is using the ps4 version of the game, whats the best way to connect it to ps4? Do i need to bring a ps4 controller or can i use that adapter you had for the ps5? Thanks
Hello, thanks for the comment. To use the stick on a PS4 you need to put the fight stick to game console mode and plug in an original PS4 controller. Then plug the stick into the PS4 and it should work perfectly. Hope this helps and good luck for the competition.
I'm thinking of getting this. Does anyone know if you can plug a PS5 controller into this stick (instead of a PS4 controller) to link it to a PS5? Trying to avoid buying an adapter
Hello, thanks for the comment. I can confirm 100% that plugging in a PS5 controller doesn’t work. To get the fightstick to work on a PS5 you’ll need the adapter unfortunately.
That is very true however the FightStick doesn’t recognise the PS4 or 5 controller being plugged in. It only works like that for the Xbox. It is a shame but I have tried it.
Having the issue that my f500 elite will disconnect after every few minutes but everything else is fine. Anyone know the solution to fix that? I use a magic s pro 2, already updated the firmware and still get that problem :(
I’m having the same problem but with the F300, it disconnects after 5 minutes or so, I checked online and a few other people are having the same exact problem on the ps5, with both the F300 and F500
Ok after watching a few more videos (specifically reading the comments section) turns out the problem is not the fight stick, but the Magic - S PRO 2, I went to Amazon were I bought it and in the description it reads in all caps that it doesn’t work to on the f300 and f500 to connect on ps5, for that you need the Magic -S 1 pro, which is out of stock, some people on the other videos comment section also confirmed it, hope that helps brother
Hello, yes you do. The adaptor allows for a connection to a PS5 but to connect it to an Xbox the fightstick needs to have an Xbox controller plugged in.
Hey mate, I may have missed it, but did your stick come with an octagonal gate in the box? Seen some Amazon reviews where they state it includes one, just ordered myself a 500 elite and wanted to see if I need to snag a gate as well. Cheers.
Hello, thanks for the comment. No problem at all. It does come with an Octagonal Gate. If it helps, you can see what it looks like in my video at around 4:15. To be honest I didn’t know what it was originally haha.
@@TheIchibanProductions it's personal preference. Square gate makes diagonals easier to find but octo gate makes rotational moves easier. Also, the centre section of the square gate can be rotated 90deg and turns the stick into a 4-way with no diagonals. Handy for some retro arcade games.
Hello, thanks for the comment. I honestly don’t know about a Brook Adapter as I don’t have one. I would like to know the answer to this too but if I had to guess I would say no as it is quite specific that it will work with and what it won’t.
I dont understand one thing. If I use the magic adapter to connect the Stick to ps5 there is a input lag? The Stick Is still connected via cable to the console so I expect no input lag due to adapter. Is this correct?
Hello, thanks for the comment. You are correct, there is no input lag as the stick is connecting to the console via usb. The magic adapter just makes the PS5 recognise the stick as a compatible device. So there is no connection between the adapter and the console. The means there is no introduction of lag. Hope this helps.
Hello, thanks for the comment. Afraid not, the Magic Pro 2 allows for the fight stick to connect to the PS5 without a controller but you will need an Xbox controller connected to connect it to an Xbox.
Kool but with x box series x controller no share capture button on the fight stick it won't capture screen shoots or videos any solutions? It has the button but it won't work on the stick
Hello, thanks for the comment. What I have done is used the Xbox to remap the capture/share button to one of the back paddles on the elite controller and have a controller profile specifically for when I use the arcade stick. If someone only has a standard controller I would remap it to LS3 (pressing in the left stick). I’ll investigate to see if I can get it working directly from the stick though.
@@docrobotnik247 yes it does for ps4 games only on ps5 console and to be able to play native ps5 games you need a black adapter called [[mayflash magic s pro 1]] plugged in the female usb mayflash arcade stick a blue light comes on when it's on

If you're using this with consoles, or with improper PC and display configuration, you're not getting the full benefit of using this stick. You need something like a MAME setup on a PC that is capable of driving a CRT at native resolutions, a CRT to drive, and you need to use the stick in DINPUT mode, and you need to use software to increase the USB poll rate to the max 1000 mS. Otherwise, the input lag of flat panel displays and consoles/improperly configured PC just completely negates any benefit of getting this stick. After trying both, I won't touch anything with input lag - not worth my time.
