I have discovered a way to avoid that one loop of the other colour being at the top of your hat ( 24:22 ) : after you finish all of your rounds, knit one more stitch before working the loops off of the loom.

Uneven pattern. Don't like starting on opposite side. Hat seems too thin.
If your hat is too thin, I recommend using a thicker yarn.
