I'm so glad you talked about this :D. Very helpful. Ive got a couple people that might be willing to sell me their bulk this way bc they don't want to deal with it. Honestly you're a really underrated channel. I hope my original comment didn't come off as confrontational or anything I was genuinely curious because I've had real trouble with this. Usually when people try to sell to me and I tell them my rates they turn the other way, even if I offer around 80%, but yeah bulk is still probably the most honest and lucrative ways to sell singles.
No problem! No offense taken, it is an important topic and the environment has changed significantly over the past year. It is still possible to buy cards under market value, but it takes some persistence. IMO bulk is the best business model for sourcing inventory easily. Don't get discouraged because hearing no is definitely hard. I've been there haha. Feel free to join the discord or ask more questions here, I am always happy to help!
The bests thing I learned from will so far is make your self that guy people know they can come to to easily get rid of their cards, it’s convenient for sooo many people this way. Basically try get a reputation where you will buy everything offered to you. I’ve just managed to buy out 3 separate customers at aprox 60% across the board.
@@joerainah9360 This is a great takeaway. A lot of the time, just being able to take everything is enough to convince someone to sell lower. If they can't find someone that can, they are forced to do more work to try and get a premium for their collection. If you can buy singles, graded cards, bulk, sealed product, etc. and have an easy process for doing so, customers will likely be more than happy to sell for a discount. Their alternative, is do all the work themselves, which they almost never do.
honestly today's video was really good, i love the format and top 10 theme, and at the end it's very useful to see how to aggregate data myself, one thing i'd mention is that the ratio of webcam to screen would use some adjustment, it sort of looks stretched out in comparison to the screen's aspect ratio keep it up!
Only new to collecting joined during scarlet and violet, could you do a video like this for the new competitive play Cards with scarlet and violet cards included, that would be awsome to watch 👍 enjoying your content mate
I had no idea maybe just never paid attention that newer sets could have older regulation markers like the quick ball in fusion strike. But If the quick ball in fusion strike had a regulation marker E would the sword and shield quick ball still be legal? Thanks for all your help!
Hey Gaby! Good to see you on this channel, been a while haha. Man this regulation D mark is so confusing to me in comparison to how rotation used to be. I think I've messed this up a few times for different topics... Thanks for the heads up!
Hi! I just found your channel and I dropped a sub! I was wondering where you buy your bulk from for cheap. Im trying to sell bulk on tcgplayer but I currently only have 6 sales.
Hey thanks for the sub! I buy bulk locally through Facebook marketplace and online. Check out some of my other videos where I go in depth on this topic!
That is great! There are a lot of shipping expenses and fees, but it balances out if you keep your business expenses low. Check out some of my other videos where I deep dive this topic.
I sell and make a good bit of money on eBay but I do not use TCGplayer and for personal reasons really I don't want to but I do wish there was a way to sell cards like these better if you will on eBay if there is I'd like to know because I haven't had much luck with them so far.
I really like this and would like to do it. I’m not seller level 4. In my case, If I sold a common. I would lose money on shipping. Do you pay shipping cost to the buyer, if you are using TCG Direct?
It depends and there are too many different instances that a blanket statement wouldn't work. Check out some of my other videos, they talk about some of the methods to make money with these types of cards. In general though, there are ways to avoid losing money.
Hey Gustavo, I have a few videos on my channel about this topic. Feel free to check them out for a more detailed explanation. Essentially you need to use plain white envelops and stamps. Then protect the card inside the envelope.

I believe so, if the reg mark is updated that should be considered reprinted.
Pal Pad isn’t rotating. It got reprinted in SV1.

There are ways to do it, it is just much harder. You basically have to list the cards at .99 and promote them.

Thank you for the quick reply. I’ll check the other videos out.
I was just wondering with this method arnt you at a lost in shipping
No, you need to get your cost of supplies under $1. TCGPlayer charges buyers $1 unless the order is over $5.
Great topic and video set up. I'm not big I to pokemon just like opening packs.
Nice!
Always giving good knowledge
Thanks for the comment Chirag!
Come back and make a new one!
