It's like his shoulder is floating but the power he is able to put on the swing is incredible for such a short swing. Lot's of torque.

He’s been bowling head to head against pros on Tuesday nights for 7 years now. Gotta have your shit together bowling Steven Vallenueva, Toby Sambueno before he left, JP Jr before he left, Ari Wilson, Jake peters, David Haynes to name a few. Matt’s been doing this a while, he didn’t always average 235 a lot of us remember when he needed 7 on the last ball of the 3rd game for his first 800 and he got 8 lol he’s come a long way from the bbr days

Matt's swing is wild! It's klunky getting to the top, but from that point to release it's smooth as butter. I bet he has a sneaky high rev rate too

@@nateg.6187Agreed! Just goes to show ya it’s all about repeatability for the individual. Doesn’t matter what it looks like getting there as long as you do the right thing at release. Everyone is unique and that’s what makes the sport great in my opinion 👍🏼

Started bowling for school only months ago and you’ve helped me, my current average is about 135
Averaged 135 when I began in September 2023. It's 182 now. Hopefully I should have a better average when the next season starts.

just bought my first ball, been bowling my entire life with scores anywhere between 100-130 on a house ball. Bought my own ball a few days ago and completely changed my technique.. I'm now a solid 40-50 bowler. MAMA WE MADE IT!
If you have bowled your whole life and only averaged 100-130 you should have taken lessons from someone to show you the fundamentals. Even with a house ball the secret is how to roll the ball and hit the head pin and then worry about the spares.
@@oldgoat50 i should say that for basically my entire life, I had just bowled because it was just something fun to do that would get my friends together. I didn't even know people had their own equipment, or that anything other than a house ball was used except at the pro level. So I thought... finding this channel helped me break out of the "bowling is just a tool to meet my friends and family on the weekends" to "I want to unlearn all my bad habits and re-learn the sport on a more competitive level"
Dudes got a crazy swing
I'll be 53 next month, and started 2 handed last March. Bowled a lot growing up, but just here and there as an adult. Currently in my first season of league, and averaging 180. I've had a few 600 series, 2 10 baggers, and several games over 250, with 266 being my highest game. If I could only stay clean....

Nice thumbnail. Is Matt like the Good Will Hunting of bowling? Lol. Good video guys. Darren doesn't lose too often. Matt may have been more comfortable being in his house. My highest finishing book avg is 213. I have moments where i am matched up well with the lanes, throwing the right ball like anyone else. Everyone has their own style that works for them. Pretty neat to watch.
