NEVER forgive a spouse who committed adultery. If you do they basically got a free pass to break any other promise during the marriage. You will be miserable because the affair partner's spirit will always hover over your conjugal bed. It is irreparable and the trust is gone forever
It does take a lot of leaning on the Lord to help get through it. And yes, grace comes with forgiveness. It's been almost 5 years since my spouse cheated. Both of us have learned so much from just leaning on the Word of God to help us in understanding both of our faults in the situation. Forgive is easy, trust comes with time. It's not an easy road for the faint of heart though. You have to totally surrender to allowing mistakes to occur and to heal together. Perfect video on topic!
For those of you who are referring to God as imaginary. What if your wrong?!?! What if there is a God and you chose not to put your faith in that. Eternal Hell sounds like a miserable reality to those that are wrong. I choose to put my faith in God!! Why? Because it's the only thing that makes since when you look at how everything on earth works together; because I feel him and believing in him gives me peace beyond any peace that I can get from anything of this world. I'd rather live my life dedicated to a loving God who is full of love, grace, and forgiveness and be wrong than to live my life without the goodness God provides and spend forever in hell. The way I see it, putting my faith in God is a win win. It brings me peace and comfort in this earthly world and gives me hope for an eternal life in heaven with God and complete peace!! You don't have to agree but I think it's something to consider?!?!
at first this video was interesting, I've been cheated on sure, I can relate. but as soon as he mentioned god it totally turned me off. Mainly because I don't use imaginary friends to help cope, and neither should any rational thinking person.
these things often make me go huh? People so often, tout speak to God, seek Gods grace etc etc. From my limited understanding, God gave people free will apparently, the power of choice in their actions. God tends to be the safe excuse for those who don't want to take ownership of their own actions & the damage they cause. In away its a insult to God to seek, grace from God as a cop out for your actions from that gift.
This is very true. Great wordsof advice.

Awesome!
ok but it's his channel and his rights to believe what ever he wants.
So what if there is a child involved, it is impossible to delete the other woman from his life as they had a child together.
Dave, what is your facebook marriage page?

I don't need that reply to do the obvious. an imaginary god is irreverent in every occasion.
well go somewhere else
