I am from Maine, now live in Colorado. My late mother always made Whoopi Pies all year long. Her “winter” filling was either a buttercream or a marshmallow fluff frosting, and her “summer filling was either ice cream (she would open the entire half gallon carton and slice the ice cream and then use her biscuit cutter to cut out rounds of ice cream and then fill the pies and wrap and freeze) for ice cream sandwiches and her other summer filling was usually a meringue. I still make Whoopi Pies- chocolate, blondie, espresso, etc and make filling depending on the flavor of the pie!
Both of my parents grew up in western Pennsylvania and Mom called your whoopie pies "gobs", because they have gobs of flavor. Hers always had a cooked creme filling that she kept a secret. I love them with a marshmallow fluff filling. She'd wrap hers in waxed paper for her grandfather to take into the coal mines as a treat back in the '50s. I never thought to freeze them, thank you so very much for the idea and trip down memory lane! Much love from Oklahoma!❤

I just made the baked oatmeal, but had to change a few items out but they are really good!
I used the left over blueberries and strawberries in my freezer and chia seeds since I do not activity have poppy seeds on hand.

Just bought another freezer yesterday and have been making freezer meals; getting ready for post partum! Totally making the apple cinnamon waffles. You posted this video at the right time lol thanks always!
My daughter gave me a pancake maker just like the waffle maker you have and I love it I use it for making single serve eggs especially because it makes it the perfect size to go on an English muffin I use it for making single serve cookies I use it for pancakes and I use it for toasting English muffins I just butter each side of the English muffin and then I put the butter side down on each of the griddles and close it up. I definitely want to get one of those mini waffle makers though 😁

O my gosh I am making all of these next week! I add cottage cheese and blend for egg bites and it helps them old together and less cloud like.

Get the 8" Dash waffle maker. One quarter of the 8" is about one of the quarter . Less work. I bought the waffle maker on your recommendation. You might want a different design waffle maker by Dash.

Whoopie pies are my FAVORITE!!!!! You could find them at the hometown farmers market! My husband was working near Lancaster and would bring me home some Whoopie pies… he knows they are my favorite treat! Lol

@@sinead2041 most likely Covid, although my test was negative. I was being treated for a sinus infection. Thankfully I am slowly getting some smell and taste back

Im in Australia and have never been to any other country, however some cafes over here you can buy different flavours of whoopie pie. Oh my! My knees would buckle they are soo moorish! 🤤🤤🥰😍

Oatmeal yum! I guess you can use the muffin cups too! I need to switch to gluten-free. We have that waffle maker.

This is awesome; I just have 1 suggestion. When you reheat using the air fryer, maybe make a suggestion how to reheat with anything else because....people like me can't afford an air fryer LOL. and I'm curious as to whether reheating in a pan vs. the microwave; also would I thaw it or not thaw it first even before I go in the microwave or re-fry it..lots of options there.
If you use the mircrowave, they will get chewy/rubbery as most things do in there. You can warm up by placing in a pan on low, covered.
I have also reheated things like this in my cast iron pan in the oven or in a toaster oven
I would try a toast oven if you have one. Haven’t tried it but the breakfast casserole, egg bites, and baked oatmeal would probably work just fine. Put them on an oven proof dish spray with a little oil. I don’t have a AF and really have no place for one cause my kitchen is small with limited storage. Hope this helps.
The air fryer is just a mini oven :) so reheat in an oven or stove top
