Classic chrome in xpro1: pro neg standard, dynamic range dr200, highlight +1, shadow+1, color +1, sharpness 0, noise reduc. -2, white bal. Auto, 0 red & -1 blue. Cheers
RUclips, one of the few places where people actually seem embarrassed or apologetic about using pro grade DSLRs or older mirrorless cameras. ;) Consumerism and marketing in the tech space has users so fooled into thinking that only the latest gear is relevant. Anyway, great looking images, congrats.
I own several Fujifilm cameras. For me, the X Trans 1 sensor has the most beautiful colors. What I like best is the colors of the X pro 1. It looks a bit analog. Tastes are different. Best regards
@@ztrhuy7339 Sony’s top of the line AF and FF sensor’s makes me a lot of money and is a lot easier to use for paid work to get great results. They just work with little to no problems, while Fuji AF is at the bottom after Panasonic. For casual fun use and Camera aesthetics I like Fuji
I also made the decision to have my X-pro1 for shooting B&W exclusively. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I simply love the way how the x-trans1 sensor renders B&W shots. They have sort of a filmic quality to them in my opinion.
A nice one. I decided some time ago tonuse my XPro1 exclusive for B&W. Most of my B&W work is done in JPEG so I have tried various recipies for film simulations. My two favorite films, when I was shooting film, were TriX 400 ISO and Technical Pan pushed from 25 to 50. I have not been able to reproduce them, but I am quite happy with my results.
I also just started using my X-Pro1 for B&W. I am a longer time Capture One user and only get dragged into the Adobe ecosystem to use LR with Negative Lab Pro for film conversion. You mentioned that C1 doesn't support Fuji X-Pro1 B&W and I think I backed into that realization. When I import Fuji raws into C1(V22) they all appear as B&W; but then, they all get resolved as colour images! So, what are the steps that you take next?
Great points, I have an xe3 but plan to get an xpro1 purely because I wanted one since it came out! What lens do you use most for the xpro1? I love my 18mm f2 for monochrome.
Can someone tell me if the X-Pro1 can be operated completely silent? Silent mode + electronic shutter? My X-T20 shoots siltently that way but I don’t have the experience with earlier x-series mirrored cameras. Thanks for any advise :)
@@calvinatdrifterstudio8438 I use mine for street photography and have never had anyone even notice that I used it on them. I have no need to get closer than three feet, so the noise from it it quite subtle.

I discovered you lately and I don’t understand why you don’t have much audience. Thanks for your inspirational videos .
thank you, that means a lot :)
Just got an xpro1, my first Fuji camera and I'm in love. Coming from an Sony a7riv 61mp & a7siii 12mp!! I take out the Fuji more every week
awesome! what a transition
Because Sony sucks dude. Most of people need to try a Fujifilm to realiZe that.

I have been doing monochrome on my DSLR and I just love it. So I know for sure I will love it more on the XPro1 too. Thanks for the video.
it really is a different experience shooting just b&w :)
Thanks to YT, these cameras have gone from around £250 to close to £500, used. Camera companies must love these channels.
rly? They are used, camera companies arent making a dime. Second hand camera stores hell yeah lol.
I’m loving this 👍🏻 can’t wait to give mine a go when it arrives
Bought x-pro1 and one lens in 2019. It‘s all i need..
Nice got the xpro one too.
I'm after the X-Pro1 at the moment. Here in Australia they are as rare as hens teeth. If you do find one, you sure pay for it.
so ive heard...best of luck getting one 🙏

Nice ! Grand National's

18 f2 a lot but recently ive been using the 18-55
Ooh love this. Gonna get mine out more. Ever considered monochrome sensor conversion for yours????
i dont think i can afford it haha
Thanks for the video. What was the name of the printing paper? Greetings from Switzerland
he mentions it in the video...
hahnemuhle's photo rag baryta :)
I do the same with mine with a Nikon Nikkor f2. Still playing with the settings
I prefer black and white on all my cameras but especially xp1.
there's something about it :)

It doesn't have an electronic shutter so it cannot operate silently

I own a x pro 1, and the images are full of grain, even at a low iso lets say 200, its really bad quality...could it be a refurbished product?
