You are the best teacher yet. You explain things simply and slowly thankyou. I look forward to seeing all of your videos! Heather from South Australia.
Thanks for the idea. Have used that strip led style before on my motorcycle. Hadn't give that a thought. Will get me some and put it to use. Best part is the strip stuff is cheap to buy, and can be bought in a variety of colors. Thanks!
I use these strips all over my the place. They come in various colors as well as color temps for warm white, bright white etc. As mentioned the strips are made to cut into strips of 3 leds. I have also used single leds from the strips with a 1k resistor for a 12v supply. Just mark the side of the led that connects to + before unsoldering it from the strip.
Thank you for this great share. I use the similar technique, i.e. cutting the led strips, soldering the wires and later supply 12 v from a standard powerpack. I use a mask tape to reduce the light intensity if needed. Recently I saw on my friend's layout where the lights were fixed to the floor as opposed to the ceiling. I felt this idea was great as it facilitates easy replacement of lights if they go kaput and also lights stick better on the floor. What is your take on this method of fixing lights on the floor?
Thank you for your comment. I have not thought about the floor before but I can see the pros with it the only downside I can think of is the light bleeding out but there are ways to stop that. I think I will have a try with that idea sometime.

Thanks for posting the how to video Richard, well done
+WestBlythMPD that ok.
Hi Richard. Will a 9v battery power a 12v led strip?
Yes it should light led stripes but not as bright as the recommended 12 volt.
that was simply amazing, but I haven't encountered LED lighting strip like that, that's so thin. any suggestion where can I find it?
Hi thank you for your comment. I found them on Amazon. You might also find them on eBay
2 things, bad idea to put knots in your wires it causes a HR point for wires to break down & 2 tin your wires before attaching to the light strip
Thank you for your comment

What a pain Ozzy but thanks for sharing.

It’s good, but your hands keep on shaking & voice is not consistant. This is not good for the purpose of demonstration, you need to take care.
Thank you for your feedback. I do have a speech problem and coordination problem.
I can understand your problem. Sorry for my observation. Take care & be happy.
Thank you
painful to watch.
Why
Well don't watch, halfwit!
